it seams to tile well... it was for 3d, so it would need to be resized...
feel free to use it if you think its good....

looks nice, although i would say if you have octagon cutouts, the areas around teh octagons should look like cutouts as well. i doubt you would be able to find marble or stone that is connected all the way in real life.

that's nice. you should put some stain under the grate though
zeon: Looks good man
Might want to add more dirt to the bottom and top part. As well as to what Fonfa suggested. Good work.

It looks VERY photo ripped ![]()
I agree with the comments above that the lower part needs some work but I like the upper parts.
Here's something from a texture pack I'm working on (also this one is still a wip).
diffuse & normal

Looks good, but maybe add another layer of dirt between the bricks and mud/clay.

Yeah, looks a bit to clean
Nice style blunkka ![]()
Wall texture for the insurgency croatian sceneario (was intended to be an iraq texture but it will fit the croatian theme better)

The noisy lines round the edge of the window and the two black 1-pixel-thick ones along the top look a bit fake.
Also you have this rough noisy style all over but then you have a perfect drop shadow with a perfect straight edge above it (top trim).

Nice start, add a dirt trail to the bottom of the shutters and some more grime around the bricks and clay like Method says.
Minos: Looks a bit clean, reminds me of Blaz's old textures. Looks too handpainted also, maybe you need to work with some other photos to combat that?
Still work in progress, I can see several issues, but some shots below. The window texture I was working on previously isn't dropped, I just need to remake the wooden frame to look a little more believable.

Nysuatro: Look good man. Although they have an outdated style. In other words they look finished, but not polished. They lack little dirt and grime that wasn't added in games before, because the textures were 128 x 128 and 256 x 256. Now you have the ability to do 512 x 512 and 1024 x 1024. See what I mean? They're good, but can be pushed further.
Take a look at Valve's textures. I usually try and compare my work with my favorite (recent) games. Not because I think I'm that good, but because I strive to be as good as possible compared to them. I spend lots of time analyzing levels and now textures. Seeing and guessing what sort of method they used to create them. Is that a photo that has been tiled or layers of photos. If so what blending modes were used. How can I recreate that? This bit is not concentrated towards you, but rather to explain how I do things, for those who are interested.

Ah, thank you for the comment Method.
Do any of you fancy making me some nice marble floors? ![]()
