Procedural generation is so much fun. Currently working on a simple proc game and having a blast.
Here are some links that I have found around the subject.

Don't know if this will help anyone but it did wonders for me so I'd though I'd share it anyway.

11 months ago I weigh 115 kilo and now I jump between 88.6 and 87.1 kilo and I haven't worked

out at all and I work in front of the computer all day.

All I did was using this formula here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harris-Benedict_equation so that
I know how much calories I burn every day and then I went about 500-1000 calories under that.
Its kinda hard in the beginning refusing all that sugar and all that fast food (at least for me cause

I loved that shit) but it was quite easy after 2 - 3 months.

If you don't believe me I have a weight loss diary to prove it

It can work if you incorporate it into the level properly and not just smacking a hurt volume outside. You can have occasional snow storms that temporarily shrinks the level and changes the flow a bit. Or you can have it on all the time and then heal the players back up to their previous health once you get back inside but that means keeping track of each players hp and as far as I know that cant be done in TF2. You also need to have some form of incentive like rewards to have them risk going outside instead of camping, else it kinda sucks.

Tons of Red Alert 1 maps, mostly ones where I gave myself a spawn with tons of resources and giving the enemy next to none.. I was 8 or 9..

    +1 except I was maybe about 11

I would assume so. I've read Chinese Room is developing this using the HPL engine from Frictional.

So far it looks to be as shit scary as the previous Amnesia.... Would love to see this through an Occulus Rift

This guy is doing a playthrough of the game and has managed to get VR to work with it.

He goes through and explains how he set it up in the beginning of the video if your interested.

Yeah I agree on the visuals on it but I was thinking of using it more as a white boxing tool that lets me mock up a detailed level and do quick iterations on it with not much work. Then when the level is done, just go in and use the procedural models as a base for the environment art.

Hello everyone! Visited the Strängnäs tank museum (in Sweden) this summer and took a bunch of reference photos there.
Unfortunately these were taken by 3 different cameras and one of them was a shitty phone cam so sorry about
the res and blur on a few of them Hope you still like them though!

This mod is really nice and looks brilliant. One of my all time favourites. Loved the wheelchair guy as well, and the ending

    was very funny.

Only had two things that bothered me a little and that was the backtracking prevention done in the mid section before map 2.

I tried to get the battery but got pushed away by the gas and I have seen it happen to others too so just moving the battery to the other side might fix that.

And this might be just me but the first map was a lot more difficult then the other maps and the fight at

    the station

    was almost too easy now.

But yeah that might be just me. Overall loved the mod, has great quality and I hope you guys will continue to do mods together. Cheers!

Hello Mapcore. Have been stalking around this forum for about 5-6 years now so thought it was about time I

posted something. Love to look at all of the work posted here, lots of great stuff, very inspiring!

Here is a project of mine that probably never will be released due to lack of time to do side projects.

I got inspired after playing modern warfare to try to make a level in half-life2 with similar combat.

Barely touched the lighting and lightmaps on this one and I think its also just a fast or default compile...
