Yeah I was going to say it’s quite hard to judge and decide on this aspect when everything is grey.
You can make some areas particularly warm flooding some light in them.

Also, he's far from being the first nation leader to get infected, this virus doesn't discriminate.
He’s not the first but he’s one of those that most vehemently said the virus was a joke.
The problem now is that if he gets off easily, he’ll pass as a visionary leader.
Anyway, looks like the virus might have much longer lasting effects on the affected: https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg2463…ast-for-months/
Fantastic piece of art
But I mean you want to sell the final product if you are paying mappers?
So is this technically a mod for CSGO? You got license from Valve to publish the game once completed?
I doubt this will break the meta, and if it did would be interesting to see something new catch on in the community.
I don’t know how you could find the motivation to make a map and all this additional content if you don’t even like CSGO @Soldat Du Christ, anyway if you feel like you can add something to the scene you should just do it… sounds like you’re almost asking permission.
@Soldat Du Christ even if not major use the spoiler tag/function, since we have it? Click on the eye in the formatting bar to generate the spoiler box
+1 @Radu, the game was big for the time but you would get easily acquainted with it.
But the story was the best aspect for me, and that’s because after all the game wouldn’t distract you with dire activities for the sake of increasing playtime. And the music, still my favourite soundtrack… and the only game soundtrack I ever purchased separately and on CDs (actually bought the luxurious box set before the game, cos my first play through was on a pirate copy).
Vice City is the best GTA for me, unless 5 can change my mind once I complete it.
I’m surprised they haven’t leveraged the existing IPs they have, but that’s good, allowed to go crazy.
@Radu you had the chance to pitch in?
Skimming through the latest footage yeah, can spot that transitions between animations are not always ideal, but this game is doing pretty much everything a human can do, the situations are so diverse I am really impressed by the polish, compared to other recent games of similar scope/genre (like Fallout) there’s no comparison the finesse being put on display here. And there are still several months to release still…
Oh wow, a disappearing desk, that's what I could use in this place
I watched episode 1 of Halt and Catch Fire ages ago and never got back to it, until a week ago. Rewatched that and continued solidly to see S1 in this little time. I'm already on S2. It's a bit like Pirates of the Silicon Valley, but (of course) it's fictional. I'm so much enjoying the retro tech of the CRTs with green text, the noise of the old keyboards... goddamn I was born the year the story starts ![]()

Vs
I rated this map x/x because the enemy team has too many corners to hide in as I round this corner which forces me to make too broad an assumption which leaves me at WORST immobilized by the risk that comes with going through or at BEST getting lucky by guessing the correct corner. Leaving encounters up to luck undermines the competitive nature of the game and is therefore inferior
Obviously I would want as much feedback as possible too, but just want to point out that some people might consider the first option already a motivation (which objectively it is compared to "7/10"). There's also the problem that if you were to spend those many words (as in example #2) for every parameter of every map... it would be such an exhausting task that first few maps might get better votes/comments and the others get some bias just because the judge has had enough. Having little friction in the process I think ensures more honest scores.
That being said, maybe there could be something in between like detail the votes for the last stage of the contest, top 3 or top 10. I would assume people have to take some notes anyway... but it's hard, the organisers managed to involve prominent people in the CSGO Pro scene, I mean apart from Warowl they are all casters and commentators in the top tournaments.

ah lol! I thought he just got bored of posting and getting pushback anything he said. Hadn't seen the forum that bitter since... maybe forever.
