I always admired MGS, but never owned a PS, when I tried MGS1 on PC, after having played Splinter Cell, I found it immensely archaic and unplayable.

So I've been excited to jump on the bandwagon since the first material, especially after the gameplay demo that suggests immensely open levels where to prove yourself (in a formula that goes back to my 12 year old dreams) and controls up to the modern times (even in the MGS4 demos to change weapon you had to open up a menu – if I remember correctly).

I'm baffled by all the promotion strategy after the proper reveal. I'll go on a limb and say that Kojima is behaving like an attention whore, putting out pointless statements whenever the attention is on some game that is actually coming out, while his is due in two years :-|

And about the size… a Project IGI single map was like 100 times bigger than the camp of Ground Zeroes.

What tournament are you discussing guys? Anywhere where I can see the video?

    Quote from Vilham

6th game, getting a little better, seem to be quite off and on though, 4th and 5th game weren't great.

Got a 5 kill round too

When you flash properly the CTs on the opposite side of the bridge, you can sometime do some real damage.I hate Aztec, I can't play it, but those rounds when I managed to go on a rampage, they where so, so much satisfying.

Yeah Thrik, like I wrote earlier in the topic… at this point the only thing to do is wait. If I was ever buying it, I would wait for those comparison videos GT and others do to see if my expectations are fulfilled.

as for preworkout IMO it's a waste of money, just drink strong coffe if you need a boost

The trainer that did our assessment investigated the quantity of caffeine cups we have in a day, remarking that the more caffeine, the more thirsty you get... so I think it's much better to avoid such thing.I drink no more than 3 caffeine teas in a day, but it's usually 1-2 per day.

So for vegetarian day #5, quiche with spinach, curly kale and courgette. Some feta for additional flavour to the Parmesan

Congrats on keeping such a secret, delivery such a result and more than anything for being so ambitious!

Looking forward to the new articles.

    So hyped.

The only thing i question is if we will feel "cheated" because, however good we will be with the weapon we will eventually find, we will not be able to kill it before the mandated epilogue.

Just read that developers admit what they presented first was an overstimation of what consoles would have been able to do, and they were pushed by Guillemont himself to present the game too ahead of time

Article is in Italian and i'm too tired to translate or search for the original now.

I understand and can agree, mine was just the first example (and closer as scenario) as i could think of.

I'd hardly dscribe a death as "random", so many times you can see players not checking corners or not seeing a clearly seeable adversary.

I may be wrong, but I wouldn't blame the map (art), maybe models for the factions playing the Inferno scenario should be revised for improved visibility for example...?

In the end what i want to say, is just that i'm afraid this could lead to something that feels like a shooting range were only reaction time counts.

    This Is The End.

Considering i usually don't watch comedies and i hate self-referentiality, i found this quite amusing, i think they pulled it off nicely. Also, the last part gave me a distinct "video-gamey" feeling.

I find that map amusing enough, don't understand why and how someone would think Swiss and Sweden+Finland as barbaric countries compared to Turkey...

    Quote from Thrik

I guess the UK doesn't let things like terrorism and kidnapping get in the way of visiting traditional vacation spots... lol.

Well, after a friend of mine went for a reportage in Palestine and Israel like 6 years ago, the latter is currently on my top 3 of places where i'd go for a vacation: like "f-bomb Ibiza!" [Blocked Image: http://forum.multiplayer.it/images/faccine/nerdsaw.gif] unfortunately, when i was seriously considering to plan a trip there, the temperature got high again.Same thing with the Kazantip festival, i've been tempted since hearing of it two years ago, and now this. Let's make love, not war

Edit: i also would be curious to see Iraq after i read an article one or two years ago about them reopening to turists.

The team had always wanted to include the Batmobile in its games, but aside from a cameo in an Arkham Asylum cutscene, it never happened. That was due in large part to technical constraints. “It’s scary doing the Batmobile,” says creative director Sefton Hill. “It’s a big thing that we haven’t done before. And I think that was at the same time we made the decision to go next gen, because we are next gen only. … We didn’t want to reel in our ambitions for the Batmobile.”

In the past i used to hate inferno (cs 1.6-source) then toward the end of source and switch to GO I really like it.

I dunno, I guess you could consider it a bit noisy, but I wouldn't compare to a map that is very "flat" due to its setting.

Inferno is kinda of a realistic portrayal to that geographic region; as a player, my mentality is that I have to adapt to an environment, not the other way around. If there's a spot where people hide, I have to learn it and check it every time.

Like, I understand and like the trick used in Mirage's sniping nest, but you could draw a comparison with dod_caen's main square: playing as a Brit I always put a couple of bullets in the famous dark windows and you dunno how many kills I got that way. And what a satisfaction to get a blind kill! >: D

Silhouetting and everything are important, but we shouldn't be completely carried out in the mission of pleasing pro-players… otherwise we should just build grey boxes or tron-like environments.

A map must be as fair as possible.
