There's nothing to "see", you're trolling.. badly. Elections in NK mean nothing... 100% election win is complete shite, Kim Jong-Un is the leader, there is only one "president" and pretty much only one party (bar a couple of those that are still connected to the WPK).. there is nothing else. In NK you either love dear Kim or enjoy a one-way trip to a labour camp... and don't reply with something about gulags because they don't exist anymore. It's not even apples and oranges, it's apples and ebola...

No, I see it but I repeat there is no significant opposition to Putin, not because they've all been jailed but because they don't exist... Navalny has the support of about maybe 1-2% of Russians, 40,000 march in Moscow is not even a quarter of Moscow's 10 million population let alone the rest of the country. Who else is left? Zhirinovsky? Zyuganov? If Russians felt they needed an actual revolution, they'd be doing it, they've done it plenty of times before.

I find that map amusing enough, don't understand why and how someone would think Swiss and Sweden+Finland as barbaric countries compared to Turkey...

I guess the UK doesn't let things like terrorism and kidnapping get in the way of visiting traditional vacation spots... lol.

Well, after a friend of mine went for a reportage in Palestine and Israel like 6 years ago, the latter is currently on my top 3 of places where i'd go for a vacation: like "f-bomb Ibiza!" [Blocked Image: http://forum.multiplayer.it/images/faccine/nerdsaw.gif] unfortunately, when i was seriously considering to plan a trip there, the temperature got high again.Same thing with the Kazantip festival, i've been tempted since hearing of it two years ago, and now this. Let's make love, not war

Edit: i also would be curious to see Iraq after i read an article one or two years ago about them reopening to turists.

I got Ukraine work colleagues here, they're telling me that Ukraine is pretty much surrounded from 3 sides by Russia, and that an invasion is imminent. Adding to that, the border to Poland has been rigged with landmines. So much for Putin just declaring it an exercise...

...And once Ukraine falls, eastern Europe is next. Watch them try.

When I think of Ukraine and Russia, NaVI comes first to mind. Friendship... Teamwork.. COMMUNICATION. I hate wars with passion. Why can't we all get along, we all fucking live on the same huge rock that will soon transform into a giant pile of shit if we don't stop religion and resource wars.

    Sorry.

It's not really a conspiracy when you have soldiers standing on three borders to Ukraine just waiting for the order to take Kiev. I get that there's two sides to everything, but by now the intention of Putin should be visible.

I'm not taking any sides in this conflict, I'm just following it with great interest. Thanks everybody for their input (especially D3ads).

In regards to the mines, I saw something around the 6:55 mark about mines. Not sure if relevant tho..

    Cheers buddy

Those landmines have been laid in the villages of Chonhar and Mykolaivka near the administrative border seperating the Crimean territory with Ukraine proper.

Pretty sure your friends are sabre rattling Sentura, if they were pro-Russian they'd probably be talking about the Fourth Reich in Kiev and the threat of "genocide". Propaganda from all sides is ridiculous...

Think about it logically, if there's movement by military personal laying mines on the border with Poland, they would be spotted by Polish border guards and the event would be reported to NATO. If the border guards didn't see anything, it's well into Russian territory and not the actual border. It would only be in the north where it meets Kaliningrad Oblast anyway since Poland doesn't border Russia's main territory... what's the point?

I see Russia was completely isolated at the UNSC, all member states condemned Russia's actions with the exception of China, which abstained rather than vetoed the resolution which speaks volumes...

Yeah no, that's a false assumption. You assume they'd only put mines on their own soil, yet what they have essentially done is invaded a country already. What makes you think they aren't going to push mines there? The border doesn't stretch further than 5-10 km into the country at its furthest (counting sight ranges etc. Anything beyond that would be fair game, technically, and would still count as being close to the border. And as far as I can see it isn't actually Russian territory but rather still Ukrainian soil. Given the legality of the situation is way beyond crime level already, I wouldn't put it past them, but then, I have no idea whether or not it is actually true.

Also, here's what's going on in Kaliningrad: http://gazetanews.pl/wiadomosc-21-r…e_i_niemcy.html

In short, russia putting up missiles for firing into Poland and Germany.

So you're telling me Russia has invaded Poland and planted mines on their soil without anyone seeing? How does your tinfoil hat fit?! There are no mines being laid in Ukraine near Poland since Crimea doesn't border the country. The story is hyperbole... it references an article from German bild.de (which for some reason, I can't find... funny that), a tabloid newspaper equivalent to Daily Mail, The Mirror etc. Plus the picture of the so called Iskander missile batteries are Patriot Missile systems that were delivered to Turkey back in January 2013 The only other source I found trying to research this was a Youtube video... So safe to say, it's a load of bollocks much like RT's story about mass refugees coming out of Ukraine. As I said, propaganda in the media for Crimea is on full retard levels...

Crimean authorities not wasting anytime, already changing the lettering on the Parliament building!
