I was really tempted, then realized it's only 2 days
minus the time you need to real life.

@TheOnlyDoubleF you are greatly skilled, don't doubt yourself! Like Chris says, I'd expect you to get a proper position already, so just apply for whatever, then they might offer a junior or… dunno if is realistic saying they could offer internship reading you're in school. But come July you'll have your degree no? So I don't see why they would do that.
Definitely apply at the company you already worked! They know you so you have a head start (I would think).

It always depends on the needs?
Standard cases are of course easier to build, maintain, present less challenges. In terms of workstation, my dream machine would be built in the desk.
That being said, having recently bought a TV and started connecting my gaming laptop to it to play pad-friendly games, I got interested more and more with small builds and tooled with the idea of getting that sort of machine for SteamBox use. You can get power out of there, and if you know how to put together a machine and you have a DIY tick, that sort of build presents you with an interesting challenge

The tool is just to ease the life of the one guy that is making it… he actually posted and is keeping a devlog in our work release forum! (I found out after posting).
would be great tho if anyone was able to make levels for it. If I was a skilled artist I would have already contacted him to collab

Yeah Big Pucture is also supported with Xbox (and normal controllers?) when pressing the Xbox button, but was curious if the Link would send some sort of signal to Steam

This is awesome! I got your game linked today and opened a topic in the Gaming section... I don't often browse this section so never realised you had this gem going on.
This is very interesting, really like the tool choices you've made.

Somewhat OT sorry, but wouldn't know were @PogoP has posted last about his HL2 UE4 remake project. Just noticed he got mentioned by ValveTime as the demo is completed(?)
this would be such a good look for the new game... I would actually be very eager to replay the original remade like this :fap:External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. I'm curious with the Link: you have to start Big Picture on the computer or it will be automatically be displayed that way on there? And how you switch to desktop?

Just got linked this impressive 2.5D action. Basically it's The Specialists/Max Payne in sidescrolling fashion:

More on the link included above. They also created custom tools to build the rooms in Unity, which seems a very good and fast workflow! Here a complete video overview.

Fuck employees!
If you are strict with them, they moan. If you're kind with them, they do the fuck they want.
Why can't people just do what they're told?! ?
PS: Also thanks fucking IT managers that decide to block services like Steam and Uplay without any notice #firstworldproblems

Very sorry to hear that @jackophant, hope you can sort something out soon!
Also best wishes for the wedding, I didn't realise that was happening!

Anything to do with the multiplayer mod by the same name that was being hyped a few years ago?

Really beautiful map, congrats!
No idea how it plays, but is interesting.
my comments are about art, think you can work and smooth the edges and make it looking really really great (Operation material if you will – the aqueduct gives the map grandiosity). The problem right now, I think, is that there's a clash of styles, is a bit cluttered… doesn't really transpond the location. Having an aqueduct I take its a Roman town, but I don't see the history in it. There are industrial corners but I also see a mosque dome in the background… I'd look into making it an European town (although I like the blue in the 3rd shot) build some solid historical foundation and then layering some modernity.

Quote from FMPONE
Think they'd rather push Snap Map. When you don't give the community the same tools the devs used to me that's kind of console-y and insulting to the intelligence of the community.
Then again, I'm speculating that we will never get a real SDK. And Snap Map does look fun, but it's not going to be the genuine article the devs used and so it seems rather hand-holdy and middling for actual mods. More like the stuff Halo 3 used to have, fun for a few hours, at least.
yeah is sorta counter-intuitive, but none of the games that offered a simplified editor built up a substantial community (at least that's my impression)

I remember The Grey as such a disappointment...
