Was attacking the F point today from the direction of D. As I moved into the point and into that wooden shelter area I looked towards C to see some enemies approaching so I opened fire only to have a team mate literally on fire run over the hill screaming and spraying his gun as he was dying. Looked awesome ![]()

Sprony asking some life's biggest questions.

Is anyone else just getting vehicles disappear whilst they're inside of them.
I stole one of the armoured cars from one of the enemy teams flags and was driving around in it for quite a while. Then out of the blue the car just disappeared and dumped me and the other guys in it just where we were. Kind of annoying since I was running away from a tank.
It's also happened when I've got in a partially destroyed one on a point to use it's gun to cover whilst we captured but that just disappeared also. Bit annoying!

I haven't enjoyed Rush in a BF game since BC2

Great, thanks! I didn't want to mess about with the options since I only had my lunch break to play. Will tinker with them next time I play.
Ran great though on my work PC on ultra with a GTX960

Just gave it a go at lunch and really enjoyed it. Nice to have a new time period to play in with all the new weapons and vehicles.
Took me a while to get a kill because I wasn't sure how the weapons handled but eventually got the hang of it and started getting in some kills. Movement felt good, weapons felt good and the vehicles are nice. Especially the tank. The limited FOV and range of movement along with the slow speeds and heavy machinery sounds made it feel like you were in some old beast.
I still can't fly the planes. The FOV is way too low and I can't see anything except for whats directly in front of me and feel like my mouse is constantly going off the edge of my desk I need to move it so much. I don't know if you can adjust the planes FOV and mouse settings independently, be nice if you could.
Overall, was great!

Watched the entire season of Stranger Things over the weekend. I think everyone around me saying how good it was got my expectations too high, but I enjoyed it a lot none-the-less. Got a great 80's vibe from the show and took me back to my childhood again. Lots of fun and kept me gripped even though it was focused around a group of kids mostly.

As Pampers said, just pick one!
Ideally for a game you enjoy playing as you'll probably be more likely to actually see it through. I wouldn't worry about UE4 games having a lack of players. You're still going to get feedback on your work, especially from here. There's always going to be someone playing the game you're mapping for so just go for it.
If you don't like hammer then stick with UE4 or learn something new like CryENGINE or Unity. But stick with hammer if you can, you can grow to love it if you give it chance. No toolset or engine are going to be perfect for you, they all have their quirks and nuisances that you need to work with.

Wait, this isn't multiplayer? You just get your own copy of the universe to fly in?
If that's how it is I'm not as interested as I once was!

That was one way. I could move even closer but You really don't get much for your money. I can handle an hour or so each way and it's just nice to live in a nice quiet flat too.
Thanks!

This weekend I moved out of a house I was sharing with some friends and some people I didn't really like into a 2 bedroom flat with my girlfriend. It's really nice to have my own place where I can come in and know there's not a huge mess in the kitchen to clean and that there's actually some toilet roll in my grime free bathroom. I can chill out on my sofa with a film on or go play some games without someone else lagging my game out.
I was also commuting around 2 hours 15 minutes to work. After the move that went down to about 1 hour 20 minutes today. Which is a big difference and should mean I can get some more free time back

Sure, the initial cost has been expensive but it'll be much better for me in the long run.

15 minutes ago, BJA said: Just guessing here, is this a Discworld movie from the Terry Pratchett books? characters remind me kind of it.
edit: Woot, I was actually right
didn't even know there's a movie/tv show for it. Now I have to watch it!That's the one! It's technically a mini series but it only had two episodes and it's 3 hours long overall so I'd call it a movie.
It really is a fun movie though and I'd highly recommend it. Lots of fun characters, lots of laughs, quite a few famous faces and there's always something interesting going on in the film. Probably pretty good for the little ones too, @Sprony! Though yours will probably be a little too young to understand it yet

Don't forget to post one for us, @BJA!
