It would be cool though, if the show would stick to Martin's style of fucking with people's expectations. So, now there's a brief moment of rejoice, a pyrrhic victory with a linger of hope, only the be completely crushed by having the wall come down and the White Walkers ending the North in the last episode. Mindfuck ![]()

God bless id Software and read this. I've now done a complete 180. I'm hyped.

Seems I can no longer avoid Twitter so I'm now one of the sheep:
Not just an account though, expect articles, interviews, game design stuff and so on.

Yeah, and they have a good chance in the next round too with all possible opponents being weak. Would be something. They play with a lot of heart and I've missed seeing that for a long time.

@sock, do you still have some editor shots? I would love to see GtkRadiant almost collapsing under this massive amount of custom content

Gonna play it next week for 4 hours. It's been a long time since I played any Zelda.

I know I should be able to understand character's motivations and situations etc and that we have an unfair vantage point as all-seeing observers but jesus christ how Jon Snow was baited into a fucking trap. You have to realize that Rickon was a bargaining chip to make you SURRENDER. What are the incentives to keep Rickon alive if a battle is going to happen anyway? And surely, knowing the world, Jon must've imagined that Rickon would be publicly executed or hell, even brought forth in a flayed state to mess with his/their heads.
Spoiler I get what you are saying. But ask yourself this. Even with all this knowlegde you have now, would you simply stand by and watch him murder your little brother? And if you did go and he got shot, would you be able to turn your back to that grinning bastards face and return to your troops? Emotion always triumphs logic, unless you are a cold hearted bastard.

This is truly a fucked up way to go. I really liked him as an actor and I was convinced he had a bright future in front of him. Makes watching the new Star Trek kinda sad.

I loved yesterday as Cristiano Ronaldo misses a penalty and has a goal ruled out for offside as Portugal held to 0-0 draw by Austria.

I think it's a dumb move announcing it so early. Sony did it better, by just acknowledging that it's being worked on and nothing more. Because what you have now, is a lot of potential buyers simply waiting for the next one to release. There's no reason to invest now. With the graphical fidelity being as good as it is right now, it doesn't matter if you play these games in two years time.

I'm not interested in this at all but I do appreciate seeing a black guy in the lead. Should happen more.

I'm feeling much better now. Got me going there for a minute.

You know what, I suck at hardcore competitive arena games anyway....
I'm going to wait for QuakeCon and find out more then because reading back my posts, I can only conclude that I'm coming of pretty biased for something I haven't even played yet. That's not something good writers do. Though, it's sometimes difficult to resist the temptation. If you love something, you have a clear picture in your head of what that something is. As soon as someone tries to change that, you get all defensive. Human nature I suppose.

You do realize it's called Quake Champions right? If your are doing something new, give it a new name and don't try to sell it on the legacy of an old title. That's really moving forward. This is trying to have it both ways.

I appreciate the heads up but they only say it's not a MOBA. They still talk about a team and progression based game. They even compare it to Overwatch so no, I'm not really convinced that it's the Quake I'm looking for. Plus, again, it's Willits. Almost everything that guy said about Rage was a lie.

Not in those words but Willits said (after the showcase) that you play with characters that have unique abilities so to me, that sounds like Overwatch or a MOBA.
