Now this is awesome and original! I also agree about the ice comment. Who cares if it makes sense? I understand the concern regarding performance, but aren't there ways to 'fake' it?

The summer sales helped quite ok. It gave us 2x the sales our actual release did about. We now reached our minimum expected revenue point so with a bit of luck we can push this up further over the coming 6 months to a medium good result. Big question is always how stable the sales are longer term.
250 000 people now have it on their wishlist, which is a pretty considerable number, so lots of people have seen the game now and are interested, but are still waiting. We are not quite sure if it is due to VR, or non VR. Hard to track that on Steam.
We are going to be building a free DLC level, for which I will invite people from the community and give you the entire game in UE4 to build with. I will post a proper post later but if anyone is interested in building a room with our assets and all let me know.
You're welcome!
When the times comes for the DLC level, please start a new thread in our 3D forum and let me know. I'll make it a spotlight feature so that it has maximum exposure.
In my humble opinion, Valve usually just throws enough mud against the wall in the hope that some of it will stick. Don't get me wrong, I love Valve and especially Steam, but you can't deny that a lot of things could have been handled better. Like Steam Greenlight, paid mods for Skyrim and now this. They only react when shit hits the fan and otherwise they don't seem to care that much. I don't know if you ever had to deal with customer support, but man, you don't wish that on anybody.
The problem is that Steam has just turned into this enormous beast, which is difficult to handle let alone control. In that regard, I miss the old Valve. The one that actually made games instead of just running Steam and making hardware.

I was already picky when I was little and I remember judging the robot walk too stiff to be acceptable for the year where the movie was set, lol. Also the bigger drone already felt too fake at the time.
But watching it today, having seen only couple scenes, was really rewarding… and if I knew it was by Vernhoven I would have surely given it a chance long time ago.
Great movie.
It's Verhoeven btw ![]()
Robocop is a movie with a lot of heart. It also modernized movie robotics and it was aggressively satirical. One of the best things though and something you couldn't imagine in this day and age, is that it was pornographically violent while still being marketed towards children. The movie also had an important message about corporate greed and how the police got privatized. In a way, it was ahead of it's time. Then you have the pitch black humor and one liners. Plus, last and certainly not least, it has Clarence fucking Boddicker, one of the greatest movie villains of all time. I've to restrain myself not to go into a page long rant about why Robocop is one of the best movies ever made, so I'll leave you with this. It's a single scene, overflowing with pure brilliance. Not because it's violent, but because of all the little details.

I know this sounds gay as fuck, but you need to take them from behind.
@BJA, any word on the Hell modules yet?
I don't want to stir up some shit or cause a discussion that goes way out of hand. I just want to know if all our French members and families are ok after these new attacks?
Here's something I never thought I would have to say:

Don't worry @Vaya, nothing's getting locked but let's keep it civil from now on people.
I gave it another spin and totally forgot what driving in GTA was like:

If you read through this page, you'll get a pretty good idea.

I am very limited in time after the crunch time for this contest and do not see myself able to address these issues until next week in order to recook it for the contest.
Yes, that is correct. So in short, everything will proceed according to schedule. Having said that, it would be appreciated if you can help identify Epic what's gone wrong (which some of you have already done).
It feels good being able to add you to the list @TheOnlyDoubleF!
Everything else is updated guys.

To me personally, it feels like this was the only possible outcome, it couldn't have gone any other way, everything feels too fucking perfect.
Yeah, that's true. I can't deny that achievement. Plus, I know it feels good. I was 5 when we won in 88 and I still remember everything. So enjoy man! Besides, in a couple of years nobody remembers how you won, only that you did win. So there's that too.
