Just started it, really enjoying it so far, but I got to say the sound design seems like it lets the game down a bit.

Yosemite National Park is one of the most popular Outdoor parks in the States and is located in North California miles from Los Angeles (I went there earlier in the year, I think you've seen the photos on FB). Napa Valley is an area filled with winegardens, for many miles and again nowhere near LA. So if the map is geographically similar then it would mean there's a Hell of a lot of land as well as the city itself.

I hope this isn't the case, I'd rather have just a really good LA and surrounding area, than them dabble with Northern California and include really disjointed locations like Napa and Yosemite.

Honestly, I was not excited to be heading back to Cali (as the rumors suggested) until I saw it. It looks awesome.

That's too bad that they changed it from BC2 where you could choose whether to join a squad or not. I'm so terrible I feel bad for whoever I get put into a squad with.

This looks awesome, good work, adding the cart was a good choice. The only thing that catches me as possibly off is the open grave, it doesn't look to me like a deep hole, might be the lighting but I'm not sure.

If my copy of STALKER SoC weren't digital I'd be throwing it in a trash can right now. As awesome as the game is, its damn near unplayable with all its bugs.

I really need to buy a fucking GFX card, and more memory! Any recommendations? The GTX560 looks pretty good and not that pricey.

When I played on my buddy's comp with the twin Frozr 560ti I stayed above 50FPS on High settings, most the time up above 70FPS, Good enough for me got one on order.

edit: Also I hear they work really well in SLI

Sort of, Diablo III will be on consoles, Starcraft, Diablo I, Warcraft I, and Warcraft II were all on consoles.

Also lets not forget that World of Warcraft probably generates/generated enough income to fund any project the company wanted to do.

Oh and there's the whole Starcraft Korean phenomenon, that I don't think every developer can hope to duplicate.

got a pretty nice rig, eh? the lag I've been experiencing is server-side but the framerate isn't too great either on that map... though I'm pretty picky and need my 60+ fps...

I got an Intel 2600k, AMD 6970 and 8 gig ram and, I haven't checked this for sure, but it feels like 25-40fps on Medium when you're in the middle of caspian. Operation Metro ran just fine on Ultra.

Wow you cant get 60FPS with that setup?

I want to get this but i'm still playing demon souls, about 8 hours in...

And I'm still on the first level.
