Still, his likeness (to my eyes anyways) isn't quite there yet. That screen grab aside, it looks like him but it doesn't?

The new Drake looks like a failed attempt at capturing his likeness as opposed to uncanny valley. That shot amplifies it... In fact, that entire shot looks terrible, like a PS2 cinematic or something

If any of you have trouble understanding edges, study Bouguereau's work (or any of the old masters for that matter.) Him and Sargent are at the top of my list of guys who blow my mind with this stuff.

It's pretty cool discovering how much I enjoy studying the human figure through painting, and how much of it can carry over to art in general. Trying to work on pushing my values as well as studying old masters in their use of composition and color (I'm disturbingly bad at composition.)
Don't hesitate to point something out if you think it'll help my understanding of art!

I agree with the story line having its bumps and whatnot as well as the difficulty hearing some of the dialog at times (though I have a sneaking suspicion that was intended.)
Still had a blast watching it, there's a certain quality it has that I love.
