i don't being guided towards certain goals like that. i don't know about heavy rain's story that much, but in this story it would definitely feel out of place.

Wait a second, you're slamming Heavy Rain without having played it?

It's the only game I've played where

the story goes on all the way to the end, even if all the player characters die

. That on its own is an impressive feat.

Good god, Sony really doesn't get it. Another accessory for the PS3? History repeating itself.

Ubisoft really seems to get what the future of AAA gaming needs. Moreso than MS or EA at least. They're still stuck in generic shooty rollercoaster mode.

Watch Dogs so far is game of show.

I would happily support the decision to restrict item sets to higher level difficulties if the game wasn't difficulty locked. Probably my only real complaint about the game aside from how light act 3 and 4 were compared to the first two. I'm not too thrilled about being forced through a faceroll version of the game to get to the "real" Diablo experience.

Also wtf no armor sets? Sets were the main highlight of loot drops from Diablo 2!

You must be playing on normal mode. There are item sets. Just go check the AH if you're in disbelief.

Just finished Diablo on normal. Auction house gear made the second half of Act 3 and all of Act 4 retardedly easy.

i'm just kind of tired of zombies. they were cool back in the day but it just seems like such an overused concept now. i'd rather see something new and interesting. or even better, a game that is only about survival without any form of antagonist(s)? hella more interesting than zombies.

Are you for real? All enemy archetypes are overused. It's the fiction behind them and the traits of them that differ in games. Here is the list of every enemy in every game. No one has thrown out anything new in decades.

    Humans

    Monsters (zombies are here)

    Aliens

    Robots

    Animals

    Mutants

    There you go.

My wife bought me this for my birthday. So far I really like it. Passive 3D is much easier on the eyes than active 3D. The included TriDef 3D software also seems to work really well with a lot of games that Nvidia 3D Vision couldn't do anything with (like Dead Space! ).

I also got these, but didn't really like the feel of them or the diamond-crusted honing steel tearing up the edges.

So I swapped it out for a set of Zwilling JA Henckels Pro S knives and promptly sent myself to the ER the next day by almost slicing off my thumb with the chef's knife. They're super sharp!

Bethesda/Zenimax's QA department is really mismanaged. I'm surprised anything they release is playable. I guess it's all about managing expectations.

From what I understand, if you don't complete the multiplayer leg or do all the side content and amass every resource, you get a big ol' kick in the nads of an ending. I'm guessing most people who have finished it rushed through instead of approaching it like a completionist for the best possible ending.

I have to say, that was the most amazing pitch video I've ever seen. Schafer and his team are really something else. Plus a point and click adventure game from the guys that invented the genre (no parallels to id, Rage, and FPSes please)? How could you not donate?

Now they're approaching $2M with 27 days to go. Who do you think will be the next major developer to hop on board the crowd-sourcing train?

A review should never be an opinion. It should review the product as accurately and objectively as possible and keep in mind the general public and set aside his own personal feelings, so basically the opposite of his own opinion. I hate reviewers that don´t get this. I´m not interested in the reviewer, I´m interested in the product.

A review by its very nature is an opinion, an evaluation. What you're asking for is a press release minus the extra-flowery marketing text. [Blocked Image: https://migrationtest.mapcore.org/public/style_emoticons/default/mapcore_smilies/emot_shakehead.gif]
