In which case I have been misinformed ¬_¬ I was under the impression that Game B was a still-under-wraps project.

Good stuff Wes, looking hot as usual! You're actually working with a really good mate of mine, Brady Jones. Machine for Pigs sounds really awesome from what I've heard, definitely looking forward to seeing more
Are you working on Game B aswell? -
He'll be joining me at Creative Assembly soon

CONGRATS DUDE!!!
Looking forward to seeing you around the studio! We need a bigger mapcore crew here though, and we're still hiring so get on it dudes, you can PM me for an internal referral if you want to apply! http://www.creative-assembly.com/jobs/

Yea I know where you're coming from man, I've had a fair few programmers interested so far, but all fell through due to time / work constraints ..
(fuck you games industry!) just thought I'd throw a post up here on the off-chance that someone's interested. If I find someone... sweet. If not I'll be hammering UnrealKismet I guess. -
I'm looking for a programmer to help me create a small sci-fi pyschological horror/story-driven game. If you're familiar with Amnesia: The Dark Descent or Dear Esther ... perhaps even Radiator 1-1, that is a gameplay experience to what I am aiming for. I don't have a lot of details to give yet, because nothing is set in stone. I'm going to have to see who I can get interested and involved ...
About me
I work as an Environment/Technical Artist at Creative Assembly in the UK. I worked on Zombie Panic:Source for about 3 years (most played HL2 mod I think) and also spent a year doing contract work for Contagion after that. I've spoken at the GamesIndustry.biz annual Careers Fair about how to pursue a career in games art. I'm helping judge the British Academy award for Artistic Achievement in videogames this year (BAFTA.org).
What I'm looking for
Someone who knows how to code! I could potentially do a lot of it myself, but I think I'm already going to be overloaded dealing with the art. Ideally I'd love to find a very experienced programmer who knows C++ to help me nail down a design prototype. Really though, I'd be happy to speak to anyone who is interested in helping me.
What I'm trying to make
A story-driven narrative experience which explores aspects of our humanity and morality, interspersed with sections of puzzle-based gameplay. If you are familiar with the movies Solaris or Sunshine, that is a good starting point.
How to get in touch
If you're interested in helping out, I'd love to speak to you! The best way to get in touch is to email me at [email protected]
Thanks

To be fair, the players balanced Starcraft far better than Blizzard ever did. Broodwar was, on paper, obscenely unbalanced.
-
I'm really enjoying it so far. Its like KOTOR, mixed with the best parts of WoW, and you can mostly play it solo if you want to. Its basically KOTOR3 with optional multiplayer. I got it free too so ;D

Lets be honest though, their tools are bloody awful.

Well ... yeah. I actually don't like most of Valve's games.
-
The fact that they casted Joseph Gordon-Levitt instantly raises my expectations for this film.
-
Seriously, Carmack gets my vote - for sticking to his guns regarding releasing shit open-source.
-
You're really underestimating how lazy dux is though.

Was riding my bmx at a skatepark, forgot I had my phone in my pocket. I messed up a tailwhip->tap and fell 4-5ft, landed directly on my phone, on the coping of the quarter-pipe (hence why its so badly bent) and then fell another 6ft to the floor. I was totally fine

Overgrown city is an original theme? When did this happen?
