You could always just make your own sprite that has two suns on it and just tell the env_sun to use that.

Some screenshots of my Mos Eisley map for Star Wars: The New Era.
The map will include the most important sights of Mos Eisley i.e. the Star Wars Cantina, a chrashed spaceship or the dockingbay 94:

That lighting is incredible, I thought it was render at first and those textures!
I will tell my grandchildren about the great things you have done with source my friend.
On another note: My recently released map, dm_kowloon viewtopic.php?f=61&t=13872

Download for FINAL VERSION
: http://www.filefront.com/14189859/dm_kowloon.rar <----- I had to quickly update the bsp so it included LDR cubemaps (which i forgot due to stupidity) so download it replace the old bsp if you so wish. This is my first released map and after months of procrastination I have finally uploaded the final bsp, feels good to be able to move on without this nagging at me.
The name doesn't actually have anything to do with Kowloon, or the walled city of kowloon, the map started out as a map on the rooftops of that city but it eventually changed to what it is now, though the name stayed the same.
Admittedly there is still a few minor bugs I would like to fix, though the vmf is screwed and the compiles refuse to agreeon finishing properly, these bugs are purely aesthetic and menial anyway.
The below video is of beta 5 so see the new screens for a better representation of the current build.

I like that model on the ground you've got there.
-
So how exactly did you achieve this? Playing around with proportions or by building everything quite large?
-
Can somebody pretty please post a screenshot of the hammer lighting preview? I'm still stuck working with the ep1 engine and as such am very curious about this lighting preview business.
-
the0rthopaedicsurgeon that looks awesome, simply awesome.

Figured I might as well make a video rather than another screenshot, stole the lighting from ep2, need to fix the shadow colour.

Something I've been working on for what feels like years.

Thought I'd look for some crit on the first of my own textures I'm planning on using. Not sure if they look "professional enough" or not.

EDIT: Oh god i just realised there is horribly obvious clone stamping on the second.

Synthesizer if i told you that did not look absolutely incredible in every way, especially the first shot, it would be one of the biggest lies i could have ever said. The lighting and architecture and setting are all so so awesome.
Also, where is that you work?
-
BJA that looks awesome, just thought I'd put that out there.

Campaignjunkie: With some nicer looking textures (the beams in the foreground looks pretty low res) and a few more details like little bits of trash floating in the water and graffiti on the walls i think that map/scene could look reall quite nice. Also, try adding an env_sprite to the light sources, looks a little lacking withot them.

nice work popcornjake, what is it for?
That was just a randomn scene for poops and giggles, though i decided i'd make a deathmatch map with the same art style. However i can't keep working on it until i get a new computer as my current one has bummed out and the one im running now doesnt even have a agp slot. Seems like i've been having a really nice lucky streak lately haha.

I thought I'd post this sucky scene, rendered in all it's directx 8 glory here for some crit as I went over my monthly download allowance and have very little to do as I am dealing with blistering speeds of 8 kb/s.
