Thanks for all teh feedback guys.
Quote from generalviviFirst off, awesome! Looks really great.second off... you forgot to add a double set of tires on the back, how is this huge vehicle supposed to support itself?

Haha, yeah, if you've got your head sticking so close to all those tiny little details you sometimes totally forget the more obvious stuff, like .. tires.
So thats how it looks like right now:

A couple of days ago I saw this pretty lame documentary in German TV about some of the most dangerous roads in the world. What caught my attention tho were those colorful Tata trucks they were driving around with. So yeah, thats teh story of why Im modelling an Indian Tata 2515 truck right now.
I'm almost done with the highpoly, I'll probably gonna take it into ZBrush next for some extra detail.

this is kind of what i don't get: why all that power on a mac? what exactly will you do on it that will utilize all of it? i get the idea of a ipad, because it's basically made for what a mac can do, but i really have a hard time understanding why anyone would pick a mac with high specs.
probably .. work ?

2 days ago I created a little floor piece to fight some boredom in the evening, and as boredom continued I also created some walls and ceilings from the same material

thanks guys
.Yeah, that tessellation is pretty heavy on the performance. Tbh I just turn it on for screenshots, because I dont want to work under such a framerate in the editor
, but yeah, a combo of a flat texture and some rubble models should do the trick. -
@[HP]:
Nope, the scene is actually for a university application, so I want to do everything on my own.

damn cryengine looking sexeh again ...

Little update from my UDK scene
(now with 3d background buildings, yay)[Blocked Image: http://i.imgur.com/fKYWh.jpg]

Mclogenog: Thanks man, you made some good points there. The buildings in the background probably look that flat because they are
. Atm they are just a bunch of planes that are intersecting to make it look 3dish, but I'll work on that .. -
Pampers: yep

Hey, I just felt like posting a tiny little screenshot of a scene I'm currently working on. Basic idea is that after the great zombocalypse, or a great war everything gets rebuilt using tracks. So those living-containers move on tracks and can quickly form new buildings and stuff
.So yeah, it's still pretty wip:

Oh wow, Bethesda just twittered:
QuoteSkyrim Steam Workshop downloads are over 13.6 million. PC mods FTW.
It's so great that they show that even modern AAA titles can have such big mod communities
