The point is the simple, functioning versioning system. Old versions of maps are archived and easily-accessible without having to make additional forum posts, create duplicate posts of the same map with different version numbers, etc.
The site is designed to aid in the development process by implementing a versioning system. I haven't seen this on any other mapping sites. If it's not something that's attractive to you, that's fine...stick to what you like ![]()
