Reminds me of re-volt
I'd like to see some sort of powerups

can i ask where you have the waterfall from and how it was made, hmm?

it's true that this might happen with a pc port, but if you look at titles that are pc exclusive, there's alot less of these problems because it is tailor made for the pc.
warby's reasoning is my argument against buying pc ports of games

leprechauns? evil alien overlords of the type that have a huge helmet so you cant see their face, only their glowing red eyes (would also incidentally be larger than the avg humanoid)? also a scare crow as mentioned before. this is about all i can think of before it gets too cliché.

it's good to see that he worked his way back again. hopefully from now on we'll see some unbiased reviews from his side. if only his reviews are half as good as mr yathzee (forgive me for sp), ill consider it a worthy source of enlightenment.

no cybbe's just being an asshole right now. it doesnt matter though, army of two is out and whoever think it's better for the 360 than for the ps3 is downright WRONG. fuck having to pay gold fucking membership to play a game online. it's right here for free, mother muchachos.
kidding aside, army of two is really a kickass game in coop. i tried it yesterday and i was really astounded by how good this game was when you had a human player with you. it definitely boosted the experience to at least 10 times as much as play with the ai. few bugs aside, there's so much fun to be had. the overkill mode is fucking genius!

How is it? I was planning on picking it up tomorrow.

it's decent actually. the controls are pretty intuitive and you can even set the sensitivity of your aiming (thank god). the game shows off a lot of cool team maneuvers, like back to back shooting, and moving cover. oh and the aggro system is excellent for tactics, i'm quite shocked nobody thought of putting it into a fps before now.
i'm still waiting to try it with a friend. hopefully i can unleash its full potential by the weekend.

the eye sockets look like they could use a bit of smoothening (even for a robot), otherwise a fine piece of work

but crzy bump doesnt use modeled 3d information, right? afaik it applies some low pass filters onto the image to "reconstruct" the 3d from 2d.
i think it was like that in the beginning; however it does some sort of analysis nowadays that lets you pick and change the normal map based on two opposite topographic maps. you can download it and see for yourself, might give you better insight than whatever i can provide here.

i recently watched first season of heroes, and i'm almost done with first season of lost (cant find time to look through the last 4 episodes). i enjoy scrubs when i can find episodes, and i also sporadically watch season 1 through 4 of aqua teen hunger force.

newest version of crazybump also outputs AO maps

interesting. could you perhaps be persuaded into creating a particle effect editor next?
