i remember the chopper as tedious as well. but this was during the day. i mostly used speed and stealth to try and outrun it. fighting is overrated, especially on delta.

always nice with some unfounded hyperbole against a well reasoned argument.

but they aren't meaningless. every choice has a consequence, that's obviously the requirement for a choice to be in a game. if you do go and kill a child then you'll be labelled, and people will look at you differently throughout the game.

i was more thinking of the fallout series. you still seem very limited in jrpgs, your actions have to be of a certain morality. i always liked st0lve's argument about you being able to kill children in fallout; that's something you'd never be able to in jrpgs. i'm not saying i would, but the choice is there. and that's exactly what a rpg should do: give you the choice.

i don't get the thing with monsters spawning out of nothing. shit does not materialize like that. i think my biggest gripe with jrpgs are the story. it's just too much emo teen squad trying to save the world from cartoon villain #2378. also turn based combat when it's not dependent on movement is balls. also, when they are in combat, why would they stand on one line, instead of flanking whatever monsters there are?

when you compare jrpgs to western rpgs, it seems that the western ones are much more mature and much more real.

i came. then i watched then actual screenshots. then i came again.

also why is it drake is posing in every pic as if he's showing off the men's spring collection from gianni versace?
