How would you design the levels and test them without the game content?
there's not necessarily an option to test, or the test may be limited in environment. e.g., you could only ever test levels you designed. the content may be there, but that doesn't mean the game itself is.

Also, not to shit all over your parade, but your game (and all your hard work) didn't get stolen. It got copied (and most likely enjoyed). Theres a big difference.
You're acting like you've built a car with your own two hands, only to get it stolen right before you finished it and you never get to drive it. Leak or no leak, people are gonna pirate games no matter how hard you try to fight it. Pirates gonna pirate, but loyal gamers will purchase.
As for this leak, im not gonna play it. I've heard the first few levels are very buggy.. Gonna purchase the whole thing when it comes out.

try with a better cpu cooler if you feel it gets unbearable, though 65 is pretty high. my cpu used to idle around 37-39 (celcius) and peak around 45-50. i don't think i've ever had temps above 55-57 with any part of my computer
i voted for the doorway, but i'd like to stress that i would want to abstract the doorway to "get inside the building", and a template building front is given, without textures. the door in itself is not nearly interesting enough and does, in my opinion, not provide enough possibilities and means for being creative.

":298yipzf]It's true man... PC's nowadays are in some sort of limbo, stalling until the release of the new gen of consoles. They're still more powerful (obviously) but the same games you play on consoles you play on PC and until the standards are raised on all 3 platforms you will not see anything that will blow your socks away. (Apart from Crysis2)

that's an excellent resource! i haven't really looked into procedural level generation (the most procedural stuff i've done has been one dimensional, for a simple game i made), but this really gives me motivation to try it out.

your pc won't explode, the interrupts will be handled before that happens. at worst, you'll just have to reinstall windows
