heh, I just ignored those events, tbh. If I really wanted to replay the missions with a different approach, I'd just do that. And trust me man... there's dozens of ways to kill your targets, a few you can make up yourself by "gaming" the system, or following pre-scripted paths, like disguising yourself as a chef and poisoning your target, etc.

  • What are you playing now?

Finished Ghost of Tsushima, dope ass game! The ending is really awesome, worth play it 'till the end.

Now I'm playing Shovel Knight, amazing platformer, loving the level design, each level throws something new and fresh at you.

I never had the time to get into a time sinker like this but still planning to at some point

They tried really hard to make you replay those missions, and they are very replayable, probably the most I've ever seen, but it's not really for me. I like to play something and be done with it, I don't like time sinkers either.

Yeah, you can play VR games on Epic Games Launcher. I bought Tetris Effect VR on sale there.

This new Hitman looks dope, as always. The environmental art is always absolutely amazing and dare I say underrated.

I actually just finished Hitman 2 a couple months ago, the Miami mission was really amazing. Level design is perfect.

Well, to talk about stuff is one thing, to moan is another, amirite?

Not that I think this is a problem around these parts, unless we're talking about CS xD

It's my responsibility to fix stuff that bothers me.. so I guess I really can't have a moan? There are things that are out of our control but most really aren't.

Fuckin A, only this mentality will take us out of this mess, the dichotomy of control.

Yeah, I've scrolled up and made sure I updated it. I think it's all up to date.

Guys, please post here if your position is out of date, I'll make sure to edit the OT. Also created the category of Freelancers / Indie, since seems like so many of us are reverting to that I'm sure it'll grow up to be a bigger list with time.

also the sensors don’t run out of batteries dawg, they plug into the wall. The controller run out of batteries but pretty sure any controller does

ahah, as you posted this, I was editing my own comment about that, I literally was just reading about that decision from oculus. Almost makes me wanna throw the fucking thing out of the window...

Right, that's what I meant, I don't wanna be plugging shit into my walls. If I had my own office, maybe but my PC in my living room right now.

I personally didn't get the index because I don't want to litter my room with sensors. It takes time to setup, they run out of batteries, they malfunction, wires everywhere, etc...

Oculus does have the weirdest and shitiest business decisions though, shit like this really makes me crindge. Plus, their store sucks, they almost singlehandedly killed the "tech demo and small indie games" side of VR.

I'm very sorry for your grandfather @Interfearance, life is fragile.

You didn't ask me for advice or opinion, but you do indeed sound like you have a lot of anger pinned up, understandably so. Go mourn your grandfather, go be there for your family, trust me they need you. Go hug your grandmother (I'm sure she's going through a lot right now). I haven't been able to go home in nearly 2 years now, I would give anything right now to be able to hug my grandmother for just 30 seconds, she's in her 80's now and looked after me my whole childhood. We should never take family or loved ones for granted.

As for this country, I don't necessarily believe it's falling apart, it's just incredibly divided and until regular people regain their ability for listening and to have dialogue, it will never get better. So there's a lot the individual can do still, but to despair or to blame is seldom a viable way for a bright future, quite the contrary. If this year proved anything to us, is that things can always get worse, we could be in Venezuela or NK right now, yet we're sitting on our sofas, in air conditioned rooms blaming the world for everything that happens through our expensive smart phones.

Growing up, I had the fortune and opportunity of listening to chatter by a lot of old people. They talked about wars, famine, the horror's of fascist and communist governments in mid 20th century Europe and even though I didn't live through it, I'm thankful for this second hand absorption of appreciation and knowledge. My grandfather would say that as a child, he couldn't wait for Christmas because he would always get a new pair of shoes, and my mother would say that as a child she couldn't wait for Christmas because she would always get a chocolate bar. Can we even fathom that nowadays? A life where you only get a pair of shoes a year, or a generation later you're lucky if you get a candy bar per year? Nowadays, many of our struggles is not due to too little, but due to too much. Too much technology exposure, too much information, too much politics, too much hate, too much finger pointing, too much 24 hour news cycle, too much materialism and too little time spent on things that matter or on self betterment. Many people I know haven't seen the sun in months and spend their days refreshing the news, no wonder we're all depressed.

As you think, you become. We gotta be strong and build a better tomorrow, dont wait for 25.
