Whaa, come on man, I thought it was really good, but I like military stories. I wasnt expecting much after reading some reviews, but they are wrong in my opinion. It was very similar to Blackhawk Down. Certain things in the movie could have been better, like more squads of marines would have been nice. If you like war movies and shooters, you will probably like this movie.

I enjoyed district 9 just as much as this. They both do their own things, although district 9 had more character, I give it that, but Battle had way more action sequences just as well done.

As far as full albums go, Tron would have to be my most listened to soundtrack to this date.

But if I could only pick one song I listen to the most on the album, it would have to be this one:

It is true that bigger isn't always better. I remember the MMOFPS PlanetSide which didn't have a cap I was aware of, and the most fun battles were the ones which featured 50–80 people. It felt epic, but it wasn't so ridiculously OTT that you were getting killed within milliseconds and there were too many threats in every direction to coordinate yourself or think straight — and it made my favourite way of playing, stealth, impossible. More players than that invariably led to a frustrating experience and I usually decided to go off and find some smaller skirmish somewhere else on the continent.

I am actually playing planetside now, and the only viable way to play and have fun is to be in a squad/outfit on TS or which ever Vop you prefer. Anyhow, I agree bigger isnt better. I love the battles around 64 vs 64 ratio.

I am totally disappointed at the lack of modern military shooter MP action in that trailer. I don't understand how anyone will want to play this game unless it attempts to be a carbon copy of Call of Battlefield Honor? Further, the lack of FaceVille clicking is also just deplorable. And that trailer did not require me to wear 3D glasses nor use motion controls...nor does it require me to grind to level 85. WTF? What is this crap? ...for serious I can't wait for this game, legitimate nitpicks and all. Uncharted is my favorite action franchise of the past few years for sure.

Sure I think it looks great as well, except it is a pretty cliche scene used in multiple games and movies with the same random reason to let the main character live only to come back and regain their treasure and save the day. I see no difference between the 2 genre's. Looking forward to it still.

Somehow I'm kinda tired of the standard generic FPS game that is released each year...How about a small team tactical shooter for once? Like the golden days of Rainbow 6...

So this doesn't include battlefield 3 then, since its not the standard generic FPS game that is released each year.. rather its the epic kick you in the face biggest and best multiplayer experience released every 2 - 3 years. :santahurg:

But I do miss me a good tactical shooter like rainbow.

You mean by choice? I cringe every time I have to go to that nasty city.

Good luck, you're gonna need it.

I was down the block the night that bomb was to go off last year. I also got engaged there the next night. I cant wait to go back. Amazing city, great food, great fun, and good tension all in one in my opinion.

Finished the campaign and played a bit of multiplayer. Not terribly impressed by it. It looks great, even though it definitely isn't the most diverse in terms of environments (with exception of the jungle level). I found myself dying a lot in really obscure places, maybe because I still didn't find the cover system very useful and mainly played it like a traditional shooter. To me the core firefight gameplay just didn't hold up that well, and although the mechanics are definitely superior compared to the KZ2, then I had more fun playing that. Oh and the story was a joke to put it mildly. Also stumble on a few bugs through the game, progression being halted because characters had frozen in their spot, unable to get to some area to activate a cutscene, and lots of weird audio stuff too.The multiplayer is definitely where it's at for me. Had a couple of really good matches, still love the dynamic objective stuff, makes for some exciting changes in pace throughout a match, amazing not more games are doing this stuff. Most of the maps are pretty cool too, apart from the snow oilrig map that just caused one frustrating experience after another every time I played it.

Overall then it feels like a somewhat flat package compared to KZ2, but still a pretty good game.

Good review Maz, I thought the same thing on alot of what you said, although I thought it was far better than KZ2. For me, KZ2 was really boring.I thought KZ3's store was pretty good, Reminded me a bit of Starwars: Shadows of the Empire but with that WW2 vibe going on. I'm not sure what you were expecting after KZ2 . Reko's narrative is pretty much garbage like usual and the rushed cut scenes/story towards the end was rough and very weak. The end was a big disappointment though. KZ3 and Bulletstorm have almost the same endings, but identical outcomes lol.
