I like the site. It's a bit odd that the box to the right is grey (at least for me). Seems like you've only done 1 map and so I would put that front and centre and not even have people click it until you have more. The map itself looks interesting, in this day and age I would just have a large YouTube playthrough video playthrough or trailer of the map there instead of the screenshots.

Nice-looking, clear site and some cool-looking maps!
Would be cool to break down more of what you did on the collaboration ones (esp. Grind for example). -
Yup, always great to have more AAA studios opening up, and also for the devs there to have more options and even competition re: salary! Good news all round.

Update: left The Coalition and started earlier this year at Respawn on the Star Wars project. :o

Yeah, that's fair. Especially after Halo. I'm an SP gamer at heart so hope Destiny 2 can 'fix' that (before other AAA companies figure out how to do a Destiny-style games-as-a-service AND also provide a good SP campaign).

I played about 8hrs of the Beta, but we were crunching or something so I when I bought the game on ps3 I never played it. Got a copy of the whole game including expansions from a friend for PS4 recently and damn, I have to say Bungie know how to make a shooter feel great. I want to play some more in prep for D2 now.

Seems to be reviewing really well, I'm so happy for those guys and girls, it's been a long time coming and a lot of work!!

Sad.

I bought all these AAA games at full-price, lol. Hope sales improve across the board, was reading about Watchdogs 2 and hope all these big games didn't cannibalise themselves and have a longer tail...

Really cool, I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Half-way through the SP campaign now and really enjoying it! MP is amazing as usual.

Played some MP, really good although so far so Battlefield (which isn't a bad thing at all!! :)).
Really enjoying the SP (although I think I might have been over-hyped for it!). Very smart of them to finally leverage the MP mechanics like capturing flags and all that UI from MP instead of trying to be COD in SP, I actually didn't finish BF4's campaign (though could have been due to FPS fatigue that seems to have peaked around 2013) but I love the bite-sized and 'stories' angle of this one. AI seems a bit janky though.
And bit weird of them to force everyone to play the SP after booting the game, since games like COD go the other way and allow you to start the game in the MP front-end. -
Reallllllllllllllly tempted to get this for the story, I heard it's really great. Might wait til after the BF1/TF2/IW blitz of games though.

Not much work got done today
everyone was gathered around watching someone Twitch-stream play on Insane!
Will be interesting to see how the other big games coming over the next couple of months do, but overall very happy with the reviews, think they have mostly been fair! It's a pretty hefty package! (That's what she said?)

lolol. I just meant purely as a title, as words.

But yeah, the core pillars do translate between games (incidentally, there's a great GDC talk by the Narrative Lead of Far Cry 2 about boiling down the core aspects of that brand, and why they didn't put Trigen in 2 :P)

Looks interesting, I'll be keeping an eye on reviews... I'll reserve judgment until I play it, but the "Mafia" name seems bolted-on, seems like they could have made this a new IP couldn't they? Does the Mafia name really hold that much sway for a non-Italian-mob crime game?
-
Yeah! I really love how every Metal Gear Solid game shows you something in history but then inserts their own world into that, to the point where you start looking things up and reading further -- I didn't know much about Code Talkers or Diné beyond movies and a few things here and there and the game inspired me to read up on real history more. I would love to see more games do that, I look forward to playing Battlefield 1's campaign!

Wow, sounds like something you'd find on a terminal in Fallout 4 or Deus Ex.
Hope everything is all good again! Just finished a pretty grueling (but mostly self-imposed) crunch here too! It's hard once you have a family and kids waiting at home for you...

I'm glad not every game is as bonkers as his, but I'm so glad Kojima exists, and so glad he says he wants to continue in the AAA space. The story was a bit half-baked but I loved the world and especially the gameplay in MGSV. I loved the Death Stranding teaser so much and I can't wait yearssssssss to play this next thing!
