Looking good Nexus, but I'd add something to the balconies to add a slight variety to them, something to slightly differenciate one balcony from the next.

For that image, as far as I know, anyway.

Shoot off an email and ask why you weren't asked/given credit. Probably won't amount to anything more, but I think an email about it would make 'em think twice next time, before taking images off the web and not following proper copyright protocol

I already have one, so I'm bloody giddy over Xbox2. Microsoft really seems to have their act together, and as much as I love to hate them, they do do certain things very well, consoles seems to be one of them.

I think its a good idea, as long as those tossing in their $0.02 don't have any obligation to help further, other than simply helping further your ideas.

I pretty much agree with Luka there. BIA has a solid core, theres just some decisions you know where made because of time and money restrictions, but you wish they weren't there. For example, it would be great if instead of "immobalizing" your allies when "killed" and just bring them back to life the next mission, you actually had the character crawling for cover. I don't think that would be horribly hard to implement as long as you could have it so the enemy no longer shot at the ally. I wish the PC MP interface was more enhanced, like server filters, friends list, dedicated server, direct IP. Just little things that would have gone a long way to making BIA an unforgettable experience. Oh, and next time, don't use that disc protection, it sucks and its causing a whole plethora of problems for a lot of people. It also needs more downtime inbetween battles. For all of the brotherhood talk, it didn't really deliver on it all the way, only partially. I know its part of the game developer bible to keep the player in the action and keep him in control, but in some situations, gamers wish they were given more of the dialogue and downtime, this is one of those situations.

As for Call of Duty 2, I stand behind my "it better change or it will stink" philosophy. If I were a WWII game developer, I would stay far away from implementing squad tactics. Gearbox did it very well in BIA, I don't see how the system could be improved upon outside of better AI.

I hope they don't make this a "graphical" upgrade, so to speak. I want to see the core gameplay mechanics looked over and made more realistic. Honestly, I'm tired of the rail shooters that seem to keep coming out. Brothers in Arms was a step in the right direction, I hope Call of Duty 2 takes that ball and runs with it. Then again, theres likely going to be a Brothers in Arms 2, and as long as Gearbox listens to its fans and sees where the mistakes were made, it should blow COD2 out of the water (assuming the core gameplay mechanics of the COD series aren't overhauled and made more realistic/less-a-super soldier game).

But then again, even with those gun laws, only the bad people can get guns, good people can't get guns to protect themselves with.

No matter which way you look at it, the root of the problem is screwed up people, and until these people are unfucked they're going to be causing problems. Its the same thing with Bin Laden and terrorism. People think killing Bin Laden will end terrorism forever, but terrorism is a mentality and "lifestyle", not a person.
