Again, looking at the model, and the reference picture, you might want to add some dirt to the chair to make it look tad used, it now looks like a fresh from the factory. The color of the wood texture is tad bland, you should atleast try some options (you can easily recycle the model and make the boarded seat and back solid with no gaps so that it looks like a leather/plastic chair) and like ferret said, I'm not so sure if it needs a spec map or anything fancy like that if many of the surrounding models don't have it. Or atleast if you decide to add something fancy, be careful about it.
The way I see it, without MoHAA or any MoH games, there wouldn't be CoD.
But, I wouldn't put CoD on the list anyway, as far as a good WW2 game, it was one of the best, but WW2 game just can't compete with the top tier, they are tired old stereotypical shooters.

As of last year, over 55% of households in the UK alone have internet access, with three fifths of them on broadband -- I'd imagine that pretty much all gamers fall into that percentage. Complaining about things requiring net access is a "little" outdated my friend.
If one doesn't want to have internet connection and still want to play the games, there is always the consoles to fall to. But like you said, PC games are being bound to the internet connection as we speak, and for good.

As a side comment to your story, as a Finn, I can relate few parts in that, I can imagine what it is like to get to work for a big developer like that, there are not that many in scandinavia, and I laughed at the part where you were worried about being punctual, it's like a freaking religion here.

I'm really looking forward to Lost, I have read some synopsis and seen some captions on TV.com.
It starts here next week, but I think I should just download a bunch of episodes of it, and watch the whole first season in like a weekend, since if it is actually good, I just can't stop.
Well, actually there is one mainstream show I'm waiting to see first episodes (yeah we here in Finland are most part in the dark on what shows comes from your TV), Lost, many people are crazy about that show. And the concept seems neat and all, just to watch how a crazy story unravel, a story you know literally nothing about.
But I would poop gold for a show like the good old Dr. Who, Prisoner or The Planet of the Apes. You just can't beat those, no explosion in sight, no mass murdering "heroes" (since when was killing somebody heroic?) and the adversaries/difficulties to overcome were something totally unusual.
Other good shows were Space: 1999, Thunderbirds & Captain Scarlet, Quantum Leap, Six Million Dollar Man and many others. I know, that all of them are sci-fi or unorthodox, but the concepts are good.
Also there has been few extremely good modern shows, like CSI, The Shield, The Wire, Kingpin (short, only 6 episodes), Band of Brothers, The Sopranos (1st season), OZ (the king of all), Stargate & SGA, Firefly, Babylon 5, seqQuest DSV and many others, but 24 never did it for me, it's just complete bull.
I have had a distaste for pointless action and mindless killing for a while now, I prefer shows like MacGyver and Pretender, where the main character actually has a brain and a half and not always resorts to violence. I mean, if a guy in some show decides out of his whim to kill 100 guys and then smoke a sig and then on the second episode proceed to kill another 100 just because he thinks that the last episodes 100 was not enough, it's just bad entertainment, and where I have seen this before? Oh yeah, in every TV show lately.
Where did they left the imaginative shows where writers actually picked their brains to come up with something more than "I think he shoots a guy with a bazooka, and then proceeds to shoot down a dozen helicopters with a flamethrower, just because it makes no sense."
But ultimately, that IS what the majority of the TV watching vegetables want these days, a horrible idea of TV show making them think, or heaven forbid.. to learn something is just too much to comprehend.

You still could make a color correction in photoshop, but I don't think the extra work is necessary, since I don't think that you can spot it in the actual model anyway.
