Welcome to the forums guru.be, I don't know what you mean by bawkward people or feline paws. But none the less, big bang and others are way more scientific than ID.

Mel's career hasn't interested me one bit after Patriot.

I would suggest that EOT and Political discussions should be removed all together.

I know I'm very active in the political forums, but it has very little to do with games or mapping. And the same goes with EOT. If you have general things to talk, you can use the forum called general. EOT serves no real meaning at all, all the posts are there for the sake of EOT, if there was no such forum, there wouldn't be such posts, which actually proves that there is no need for it.

But I won't suggest it because I don't like being beheaded, I need my head.

gah, I've tired most of those.I just feel burnt out. THe problem is, I've got stuff I pretty much have to have finished fairly soon. I've played games, not mapped form weeks on end, read tons of books, listened to all sorts of music. I fire up hammmer and just spend ages flying round the level looking at how bland chunks of it are and I have literally no clue what to do with those areas.

    It's driving me nuts.

    Sometimes these things happen.

I have had a long pause on modelling now. Almost a year or so.

I just don't have the drive anymore, and I just draw concepts for models that I can do when I get my drive back.

Maybe it is stress or something.

    old movie (screen)

Animated by the stop-motion guru Willis O'Brien, who inspired Ray Harryhausen who made the most spectacular stop-motion effects on film in the history of man, Jason and the Argonauts.

But the original Kong is the shit for sure.

The header image is an improvement, but making it narrower to fit the rest of the box, just made your site too restricting. Give my eyes some space, the earlier way was better, the top was a contrast to the bottom, but the bottom had some boundaries, but still the header gave alot of freedom. Now you just sqeezed a small site in to a small space.

The site doesn't have alot of content, so making it in to a small box like that, breaks it. The colors are monotonous, no contrast at all.

Aside from the header graphic, I don't like the new direction one bit.

My advice is to do something COMPLETELY different.

When I hit an artists block, photoshop seems daunting, the pencils laugh at me, modo and zbrush are against me. I usually take up a LUA or some other programming/scripting book and do some programming. Frees you from creative thinking and gives you simple goals to achieve events that an artist might not get to do.

I also make something physical, I usually work in my lil' workshop, work on my models, or tinker with computer modifications, work on aluminium to come up with casemod stuff, and sculpture with clay.

The new topic&reply buttons are way better now. I don't like the font one bit, but you can't win them all, it's like 50/50, half the battle isn't bad.

Also they had a nice CGI Chicago (was it?) modeled.

If you mean the city at the and part of the movie (kong climbing in to the tall building and all) it was New York, the Empire State Building is a dead giveaway.
