yeah youre going to have to hit yourself for that one

i thought it was really good, after reading all of those negative comments, i cant really say you guys are wrong, but i thought it more of an action film i guess...i did love the Trex fights wow, comeon that was cooool, and the bug scene WOW GROSS!!! i mean seriously, that was gross, i liked it! i thought actually NYC scenes were kinda the lamest, like the theater scene, and Naomi Watts walking through the fog, someone straight up laughed in the theater and i didnt blame them. I did think it was sad, Kong looked really good, downfall of this movie is taking it too seriously i guess.

Today.. I saw the king kong, 3 hours movie.
My words for the movie:
Well the movie aint bad but there are a lot of dumb bugs in the movie.
I expected a better movie without bugs, look man, comeone it's 3 hours looong movie. I was near to fall asleep, but the coca-cola had me steady rushin to the nearest toiletroom. However..
*Do you remember the scene (the theather) where king kong is captured with handcloves and jailed and like on the scene.. And before the camera men makes king kong really crazy wild beast? And when the guy from the team just runs into the theathre on the balcoon floor? Well, wtf HE DIDNT BUY THE TICKETS; THEY WAS SOLD OUT? NOW; WHO LET HIM IN?..
bug..
*Do you remember king kong sitting on that big high cliffedge with the girl in his hand.. and it's night.. and both are sleeping.. And suddenly the guy comes to rescue.. the well known writer that looks as a model? Well.. Kingkong suddenly wakes up and starts to beat him and tries to kill him.. But soon some flying bats/vampires attacks king kong from all directions and bites him? And king kong goes wild again.. And more wild..
And suddenly.. the green lian/the green fat rope just hangs on the cliffedge and.. the guy and the girl jumps onto that rope and grabs it? And they tries to get down so fast as possible!!! But kingkong.. he tries to get them back so he pulls the rope back!.. BUT WTF? are we talking about a rope? What is it? Where came that rope from? Did it teleport from king kongs butt? I didnt see it even before he felt asleep? And does ropes grow on a cliff? On a rock? A stone..
bug..2
And.. Remember the last scene before king kongs death.. He is with the girl on that skyskaper.. Well.. ISNT IT A BIT COLD THERE UP? THE GIRL LOOKS TO LIKE THE DAWN SUNSHINE? IS THAT WHY SHE LOOKS SO HOT IN THAT LIGHT?.. well.. she should get cold as fu*** as she only got that white dress.. Now..
bug3..
king kong movie gets by me -
7/10

ya that's about as positive a review as i could agree with it. one thing is for sure, I hardly thought about the movie once i left the theater, except for here. that's the mark of a movie being meh for me.
After seeing Kong, Harry Potter and Syriana, I need some nice romantic comedy or non-action / non-political oriented drama to take my girlfriend to. Suggestions?

Animated by the stop-motion guru Willis O'Brien, who inspired Ray Harryhausen who made the most spectacular stop-motion effects on film in the history of man, Jason and the Argonauts.
But the original Kong is the shit for sure.

sorry to bust your rant nexus but the "rope from king kong's butt" was just a vine, already established to be around the island...BUT! there is a good point to be made of, the height of that cliff, and the length of the vine and exactly where it was going, if it wasnt pulled up by kong, they would have fallen to their deaths!

Agreed.. But they used this scene as from the old movie, king kong movie is only a remake from the old one but with better effects.. and so on..
But actually THE lord of the rings is nice movie made by the same dude peter jacksson, altrught it's a saga and a fable, and king kong is fantasy.

He was the writer of the story. Usually they get in without tickets. And do you think it would've been a necessary scene where they show him handing out some cash and recieving a ticket??

Well you cant say that bla bla bla he works for the industry branch and stuff and we know he is a writer but personally this is logical when the tickets its sold out and all is inside nobody can get back in, if maybye its only police or so.. But no.. no doubt, this was a bug.
And another thing that made me kinda dissapointed was the scene you know when king kong is standing there on the street and the woman was out in the snow walking dowtown in half a dress and man comeone, this is really sick, but logically all the dudes that lives in the houses there should be like standing inside and looking from the windows and balcoons and everything, it was a big noise outside when king kong smashed the car.. Isnt that little mysterious that it didnt happen?

Nexus, please. It's not supposed to be realistic. If you really start flaming it because it's unrealistic, you really don't know much about movies.
