It's a pretty well written survey I think. I saw more than one error, but the questions were good and that's the main point. I wonder if you'll be able to tell which surveys are from mapcore.

PC Gamer in US gave it a 98%.

As I recall they gave HL and HL2 the same score.

We're all nerds here. It's ok to laugh at the title.

Yeah, I know. I think it's actually the lens though, but I'm going to clean both just to be sure.

yeah definitely put some effort into coloring/shading it. If you don't want to you could always look on DeviantArt for a good artist. Find one with a coloring style you like and ask him to color your art. People do it all the time so don't worry about it being weird. In fact, a lot of people work together. One makes the line-art and the other colors it.

Personally, I don't even have a computer/console capable of running this game, so I don't know that I'm going to worry about it at all. I'll just enjoy the pretty pictures.

why is a hairy butt your avatar? Just wondering.

Any of you guys ever play "Revenant" for pc? Pretty old, but I find myself coming back to it almost as often as Ocarina of time, though not as fervently.

Really nice ones there. May I ask what lens you used for the macro stuff?

    You may.

I'm using a retro-fitted Sigma 50mm 2.8 macro FD lens. Yes, FD. I bought it thinking it was the newer EOS version. Disappointed as I was, I decided to MAKE it fit my 20D. So I got an old FD extension tube, took the male connection off and screwed it onto a camera cap. I carved out the inside and now it works! It has a TERRIBLE flare problem, but usually macro doesn't have to deal with that anyway, and it's REALLY sharp.

actually it isn't, but the topic sounds better that way.

A familiar location for me. I've taken a few good photos there. Definitely becoming one of my favorites during the winter.

I know some of the shots are pretty dirty, but to be honest, I don't care. In fact I kind of like it because it looks like I was shooting film.

Ok now I have more time to say something about game...I like: whole environment, a 'plot', models, weapons, graphics, 'power-ups" (invisibility especialy)...

I don't like: requirements, stupid AI, car physics, end of the demo with mechanical ocopus...

I'll buy it if it will be on X360

have the same conf. and Cryisi works on 15-20fps on high details...

My friends PC is a 4200 X2 (939) with two gigs of dual channel and an 8800GTX. It ran just fine for me on High settings. sometimes it dipped, but usually at least 30's I'm sure. Only a few times did I notice anything that was actually a low framerate.

You know, you can get an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.4GHz but overclocks to 3ghz in almost all cases) for just £160 now. That's just £20 more than the Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4GHz).

Wow... Quad Core. That is le crazy.

Has anyone actually been able to run this at full beside delaz?

I installed it on a friends' PC and ran it at full without much of a problem. Low framerates usually happened at one of the bigger enemy sites, especially when a building was exploding. Otherwise it ran and LOOKED great.
