He does kinda look older in HL Alyx even though it's before HL2. But I agree I do kinda prefer the HL2 look of him.

One of the greatest games designed and released for the PC which was a definitive icon of 00's PC gaming is now just a back seat, pre-rendered, content filler for a console that looks like dehumidifier.

Still better use of lighting, atmosphere, design and immersion than most modern day titles.

There's this company called Cold Iron Studios that are working on a multiplayer aliens game. Curious to see how that will play out.
Their back catalogue of games isn't very reassuring. Probably a mobile game or something.
