Except for the noise (or especially because of it) all of the indoor pics are awesome. Especially 1st and third.
And imagine your friend standing on the same side as you on the fourth (black hole in the floor) one. Him gazing down the hole. Would have been a very nice art shot.

Wth... I'm like the arch bishop of beer and I haven't heard of this?
See you there next year for sure.

That's a nice place to take photos at, but they lack context and mood. Go back and try to tell a story, not just show what it looked like there.

The Assembly demo festival starts this thursday ang goes from there to sunday. I think it's one of the best demo parties ever, and I've been to many, to assembly every year since 2000.
What really gets me are the 4k and 64k intros and how they have evolved from the beginning of the 90's.

I don't think the 18-55 stock lense was that bad. The main bad thing about it was the toyish look, and that the front of the lense spinned when you zoomed and focused the picture, which causes problems with some filters etc.
On the other hand, I wouldn't by a 350d anymore. I had one which was stolen, and I bought another one when I got the insurance money after thinking for a long time wether to buy a 400d or a 350d. 400d has some features that I really could use now, and a couple of megapixels extra wouldn't be that bad either.
One thing is for sure though. A Nikon d80 is a lot more manouverable camera than these small Canons. I'm not sure what the shell is made of, but they're a lot more sturdy and fit a hand better, thus giving better support for heavy lenses.

lol? I guess the dot of the m4 w/ the aimpoint is also higher

I'm sorry, but you just said the stupidest thing I have heard on internet for many, many years.
The sights never see exactly where the barrel is pointing, unless you're aiming through the barrel, which isn't the case with any rifle, pistol or other hand held projectile gun in the world. They're always centimeters or inches apart, and indoors, it matters.
-
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's there unintentionally, maybe some of the devs here can confirm me on that, but it is realistic, and it is really hard at first in the real life.
And it is confusing, because even if you're concious about it, your brain keeps telling you "yeah there's at least half a foot of space there" and then you pull the trigger and blow of some ground in front of you.

Here's one issue i found in the game :The support weapon of the insurgents, if not maybe all the weapons actually, is shooting a bit lower than the position of the rifle. Like in that pic, the rifle is above the obstacle, and however the bullet go right in it.
This is simply a good, realistic thing. Remember that the barrel of the gun is about an inch lower than the sights.

It has a shitload of bugs, which is kinda the reason I don't like modders to "release when finished". There's just too much that fill fail at start. Awesome first release otherwise.

The biggest problem I'm having with the concept of this is well.. I'm almost certain there's going to be very little to explore. In that interview the guy says that if you wander around to an area with too hard enemies, you will die. I'm reading this "Go along the roads, dare to make a shortcut or wander to the wasteland and it'll be INDESTRUCTIBLE SUPERMUTANTS THAT FLY EVERYWHERE."
Like.. woah that's a nice looking forest - BUT IT'S NOT FOR YOU, you have to choose from two different routes.
And. If I'm not able to sell my compadres to slavers, then kill the slavers and everybody else in the radius of 20 miles and still be able to complete I'm not going to like this game.. as much.

Well, it's going to be fun for about a couple of days. Then it's going to get fucked by updates on things that aren't broken.

I must say this. This mod was awesome. Then they did the most horrible thing imaginable, and balanced it.
I almost always played this game with raging bull, katana and ruger. Sometimes I liked to use sawed off or barret. Why? Because these were different. The pistols are total opposites, and katana was there because there are no katanas in other games. And it was fun to play, because it was hard to kill 3 or more players fast, because RB was such challenging to control. Sure it was easy to kill a single guy, just as it is easy to spray any other pistol into a group and kill many. But it was hard to shoot 5 bullets and kill five guys, and that was fun. But no.
Then they thought "well g.. they say RB is bad because it kill with one shot almost always.. let's make it weaker" and made some other weapons better. Now there's just no fucking point. There's a stupid kevlar, and now you sometimes have to score 3 hits to kill. Oh shi... RB is not fun anymore.. Well.. Let's add a new gun.. that kills with a single shot almost always... Wait whats going on here?
Everybody seems to be running around with a g20 or some other killyourmouse weapon, hammering away. It doesn't matter what pistol you choose, because they're all the same. All the guns have big clips and take about the same amount of hits to kill. There's just no finesse left whatsoever.
I'm really disappointed how every fucking game there is has to be made as easy to play with every single fucking way of playing it. First they fucked CS. Then they had to fuck DOD. Now you guys have done the same for TS.
"Boo hoo that gun is bad it's so easy to kill"
"well... why don't you use it?"
"...I CANT cause i'm a stupid fuckface and can't aim and i have never had to learn anything.."
"there there.. we'll just balance it so there's no challenge whatsoever and everybody is happy right?"

Why couldn't you take a DSLR? There are bags made for that and they ain't too expensive.
-
Your pictures have nice "film" feeling to them, but the grain is bit too saturous, so it kinda pops out more (this red, blue, yellow dust you see on the picture). Photoshop can help, and there are some programs designed just for removing it.
Never put such horrible borders to a picture again. Actually the only border that ever really looks good is this kind of thin black border, all kinds of gradients etc. look terrible.

Tried a different style with the second one again:[Blocked Image: http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/3128/beach2ami4.jpg]

It looks better, but it still lacks the reason why the bucket should be "popped out" of the picture.
The second picture here is by far the best. It has this journey kind of feel to it. If only it had somebody walking there or something in the sand.

The second one with flames is nothing short of awesome. Also the rollercoaster and the last three are nice.
MORE.

The first one is justs lovely, and I like the third one too, but I think that the effect you're using in the second one should be used with a lot more thought than what seems to be there.
