heh anyway, instead of that graphic stuff there's something that every fanboy like me must wonder about.Snake looks really cranky ass now, but if you make the comparaison with otakon who doesn't look really old :

    [Blocked Image: http://kokosovar.free.fr/mgs2.jpg]

    and in mgs2 :

    [Blocked Image: http://kokosovar.free.fr/mgs1.jpg]

so is that really snake ? or anoher clone bastard coming out from space ?

Well, if you look at those MGS2 pictures, Otacon could be 25 years old and Snake something like 40. So if MGS4 is for example 15 years later, both look pretty much as old as what they would be.

The MGS world, however, is pretty odd so you never know what has happened to Snake. Side effects of FoxDie or cloning, perhaps??

U guys are all blind. Its obviously pre rendered. I know mgs looks good, but if u ever played any mgs game u will remember its filled with pre-rendered scenes occuring during the action, and the actual gameplay graphics are less detailed versions of these scenes. Or are we talking about another kind of "pre-rendered scenes"? I played thru mgs2, and it was absolutely flabbergastingly filled with them.

Did you read the GameSpot article at all?? Please do before you make a fool of yourself.

    why is he wrong?

First of all, it is real-time, this has been confirmed. Have you EVER seen graphics in an MGS trailer that didn't end up looking just as good or better in the completed version.

Aah well, people didn't believe the first MGS2 trailer was real-time either.

Quite nice and pretty much what I expected. The fight scenes were spectacular.

I just couldn't help smiling when Tifa was fighting one of the three gang members in the church and a modified version of the FFVII fight theme was playing in the background.

Is it just me or do those Quake 4 movies look crappy?? Most unimpressive.

    Pictures look much better, though...

But I'm just bit curious, from the moment they announced that revolution can play old nes, snes, n64 and GC games I was thinking, if the controller is revolutionary, which means that you have to use your whole body to control revolution games, how would that control scheme translate to old games with a pad, would I have to wave my left arm to "run" on super mario and at the sama time twist my face to jump and wiggle my leg to duck?

Or you could turn the controller 90 degrees to the left and voila, you have a NES controller.

I'm pretty sure it's NTFS but it doesn't boot anymore so I guess it's game over...

Knowing Strat, he most likely had tens of gigs of important stuff on that HD.

A simple question: is there any way to recover data from a broken hard drive?

Stratty's hard drive just broke and he lost A LOT of important files including maps, photos, art, school projects etc. etc.

You mean about fining if someone sells a game to a minor?

Well first of all, they are comparing it to tobacco or alcohol as how dangerous it is to people, another rule to control the masses, and they are generalizing that all kids are capable of murdering innocent people just by playing violent videogames.

    What is RIGHT with that?

I agree, but you don't die after smoking one pack of cigs either... and yet I'm pretty sure you don't like the idea of shops selling cigs/alcohol to minors.

It was a penguin game on my friend's Amiga or C64. I can't remember the name of the game or which system it was for because I was so young I didn't even know there were different systems.

And when I was six years old I got my own NES with Mario for Christmas.
