Just saw it. Spectacular effects.
After the first 45 minutes or so it's all action. Too bad the sounds were really loud in the theatre and at times it was hard to fully enjoy the over-the-top action (over-the-top in a good way).
Although it was very enjoyable, I think it missed something that I can't quite put my finger on...

Who says we haven't. If time travel is possible someday, I don't think it will be common for people to use it because time travel fucks up the space-time continuum the second you interact with something. It wouldn't do us any harm, but it could do them.
