Is Applwoi some kind of fruit juice?
Seriously, even if I had doubt I'd remember. It's hard enough getting home lol. I'm currently staying right in the middle of Frankfurt. Stone throw away from the big banks.

It's so awesome that Obama won the election

I'm not stupid enough to think that any one perspon or majority party can change things in the short duration, however, since somebody has to step up and be the face of screwed up issues Obama will do a better job than Macain. Mainly because people view him as very intelligent and it's first opinions that make a huge difference. It's nothing to do with what you say, but all to do with how you say it. (yes ok that's charm
)Also, might I point out that politics runs in spells, for example a major party will often stay in power for a few decades but will usually be voted out shortly after. This is quite simply a case of "It's time for a change"
Chances are in the UK power will change to Conservatives once again. -
Either way it's sweet :> these do look quite considerably better than the tf2 movies though. Art style difference taken into account.

Very awesome, but it's a shame Valve have caught the CG bug

Wait an till you run your own company and you will understand. I only understand a little due to picking my dads brain about such subjects.
It's obviously a real shame for who is affected though.
I'd rather have 600 jobs cut than lose EA as a company, I don't think the games industry would recover for quite a while if it happened.
I'm not convinced the "credit crisis" is having such a big effect as the media make out, but to say it has nothing to do with the job cuts is a little silly, total game sales are only a portion of the finacial outlook of a billion $ company like EA. -
They've definately stepped over the line here
However the chances are it's a load of crap, as the rules for being "banned" have not been specified. You can be banned and removed from MMO games you've already paid for if you break the rules, I don't see it being much different if the reasons are justified. -
Just finished watching the entire film! wow that was very good
one of the best war related films ever to be honest.QuoteThe scene with the kids was just chilling
It's so refreshing to see the axis side. We'll never know exactly what happened but it's still a brillaintly acted and put together production! on the topic of games the types of emotions felt in a film like this games just can't come close to. (Not that 'you'd want to but I still class it as entertainment) Why can't we have a WW2 game with an actual storyline with emotions? Not just limbs flying off German soliders as the slowmo "action" cam kicks in

I'd love to work on a mature, adult, story driven ww2 game. Maybe in 10 years we'll be so bored of brainless action games that we will HAVE to evoke emotions (some painful) to get our kicks, the way things are heading at the momment I'm all for it. I know the comparason between games and movies is a scary one, but it's evolving that way infront of our very eyes.

The Helping Hand
Deliberate Sociable Fun Veteran (DSFV)
"Generous, helpful, kind...a few of many positive attributes people see in you, the Helping Hand. Nothing satisfies you more than helping your teammates or friends out in all the games that you play. You may even look to assist people in some cases if there is no one around asking for help. In fact, the enjoyment that you receive from helping people rivals that of solving a puzzle, winning a battle, or achieving a hard objective in a game.
Heavily social intensive games tend to be what you enjoy the most although you can probably find something to take pleasure in with most games. For instance, if you happen to find yourself in a competitive first person shooter, you'd probably take the support class. We recommend you stick to games (and crowds!) where people will appreciate you more; these include more casual gamers seeking fun and excitement from games rather than the serious competitive ones."

100% spot on, but then, I think it's the kind of thing like horoscopes, everything you read always seems to be true because it's worded in a way that fits everyone. Reading the other ones here I've had momments where I'm exactly those
I'm very competative with online games, but I don't take them seriously which would no doubt confuse the results. -
You should all know better than to listen to what the media say (and I bet most of you don't trust it) , of course they pickup on the racists because it's awesome entertainment if you like that kind of thing. Which sadly the majority of people do.
I'm not saying there are NO racists in America, but watching somebody in a suit who appears to be educated talking with them puts a strong message that the issue if much stronger than it really is. Welcome to the world of selling a story. I hate the news
world would be a better place without it. -
