The pride I feel when completing and shipping a game is one reason I love this job. Another is the fact that the place I work in has some of smartest and coolest people and the work environment can't really be beat. The money is also good, relatively speaking.

I also love the work I do. I like being on the cutting edge of computer technology.

It's possible, but I'd bet the probability isn't that high.

I do agree that there are similarities, I just think that they are nothing more that coincidence. The human mind is prone to making connections where there are none, and has tendencies to highly over-exaggerate small similarities when there is no meaning behind them. We are pattern seeking animals.

Some people would really love it to be inspired by HL2 for no other reason than they think HL2 is the best thing to ever happen ever.

It's an odd thing that happens when someone is so enthralled by something that when there is a similarity with something totally unrelated, it must be copy-catting.

There will probably be more people to see this movie than people who will ever play HL2 ever.

If you're looking at it from America, it's small. If you're looking at it from anywhere else in the world, it's medium to large.

Bla, I wanted something AWD and practical. I was close to buying a Nissan Frontier truck, but changed my mind in favor of something that made more sense for city driving. I like the hatchback because it gives me plenty of room for anything.

It's not a super fast car or anything, but it handles amazingly well in the corners due to the AWD and I can park it ANYWHERE cause it's a little car.

It was just that instructor guy that was badly voiced. Everything else sounded ok. He reminded me of some cheesy Larper trying to act cool mid-LARP.

I used to use it along side Windows in a dual boot setup. It was pretty cool, and I found that I could do all the same things with it I could do with Windows, with the exception of hassle free gaming. You can play games, and I'm sure many of the more recent distros are much more compatible with games (Wine comes to mind), but because I'm so much more used to how Windows works, it's just much easier for me to stick with that instead.

I'd only really ever use some form of linux on a secondary machine for experimenting with or running some type of web server or router.

I liked Linux (I think Mandrake8 was what I was using at the time), but when absolutely everything else out there that I interface with is Windows based, I basically have to be Windows also.

I enjoyed the combat, though a hated the voice acting in the training part. I'll probably get it when it comes out. Multiplayer might be cool.

feels like an awful hl2 mod with prefabricated "source" graphics and a ut2k3-tech feel with 5% of the fps, a generic, unbalanced, overhyped fantasy game with the "Might and Magic" franchise name tagged to it to drive in fansI miss games that were games.

Yeah, there are a lot of weird people on there, but it is really useful for keeping in contact with friends, old highschool/college buddies, and family. I have 140-something friends listed on mine, all of whom I know currently, went to school with, worked with, or am related too.
