First of all, this horizon is, I'd say, 5 or 6 years away.
Secondly, only one guy, is researching and experimenting with new technology that's probably not even able to run on today's or tomorrow's machines in a game quality situation. Think next week.
Also, it's not like whatever they've put together for UE4 so far is even in any kind of shape to be licenced or used to create anything more than window with a floating HDR'd teapot in it. Well, that would be my guess anyway.
If anything, I'd say Mark Rein probably blurbed.

You could get your camera and find a building or something high to get on top of and take your own sky pics.
Stand and face north with your camera level to the horizon and take a pic. Then rotate and do it for north-east, then east, and so on until you get a pic of each major direction, 8 total. Make sure you overlap them by a couple of inches. Then angle your camera up about 45 degrees and take a 4 pics, north, east, south, and west. Then take one straight up.
The hard part is stitching them together. Get them into photoshop and blend them all together. Mikezilla could probably tell you more about this part.
All this may only work if you're mapping this final texture to a dome shape though you could probably make it fit a cube shape.
I personally don't like terragen because it's terrians are just too unrealistic without a good deal of photoshopping. They all have that instantly recognizable terragen look.

Messenger (not MSN messenger) is a service that automatically runs in Windows and is used for various networking admin things. Spammers have found a way to make it pop up on your computer and spam you with an advertisment, usually disguised as an error/warning message like the few you posted.
So, go to Adminitravie Tools -> Services, find it in the services list, and set it to Disabled. Problem solved. The Messenger service isn't anything bad in and of itself, it can just be trigger remotely by spammers.

Cool map Phobos, though I think instead of rocky, barren stuff going on above the map, something very lush and jungly would look cool. You could have vines and such hanging down into the map. Plus, with a lush rain forest type theme, you could have a lot of fun with ambient sounds.

More like... this art looks amazing. The engine does look like it has some up-to-date features though.

Quote from Kosmo
Besides, in the last few years, the requirements have only been rising, so are they just keep rising untill no one is able to play the current games with current bleeding edge system? Yeah, that is really great idea, let's do it and bankrupt our game developers.
You mean, in the last 30 years the requirements have been rising.
This is why PC game developers make their games scalable. This is why we have Low, Medium, and High detail settings. If you don't like the way the graphics look on Low then that's your problem.
The last thing I want to see is computer technology come to a standstill. If the game industry just stopped inventing and implementing new tech after Doom1, we'd all still be using 486's with no problem. We, as developers, give companies like Nvidia, ATI, Intel, and AMD a reason to exsist. Then they give us a new piece of hardware to abuse. It's a neverending cycle of ever-evolving goodness that paves the way for all sorts of crazy technological breakthroughs.
If you feel irritated because to stay on top, you have to go out and drop $500 on a new video card every six months, then that's your problem. You could always learn to play a game on Low and upgrade only every couple of years.

"Oh no. The world will come to an end. The two great evils have merged. The sequence is complete. The game industry is doomed. EA is the devil. HL++ will suck now. Other uninformed, down-with-the-man, bullshit e-opinions here."
