Rick_D and gentlemen, folks, core of maps. Today is the day that will be remembered as the year's biggest game launch. It is the day that Exit Strategy Entertainment's super-secret, yet long-anticipated project "Planet Buster" is released to the masses. We don't have rich men dressed up as bats, we don't have jet planes, but we have weapons of interstellar destruction:
As you can see the game comes at an affordable price: it costs exactly as much as you want to pay! All proceedings of this title will go into the development of our 3D Jump'n Run-Action Adventure hybrid Pirates of New Horizons. It will help us to get make the game better, get it into your hands sooner and you've got something to play in the meantime. So while you are waiting for that Batman DLC to download or your copy of Battlefield to unlock - why not play a few stages of this fun puzzle game and support your local indie developers? Oh, you've played match-3 games before? This one does several things differently:External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy. For one, the game does not restrict players to swap only adjacent tiles, which allows you to strategically arrange long chains of planets. However each move comes at a price: one coin. Coins can be recollected on the playing field, but consider that the bigger the chain-reactions are that players trigger the more coins will appear on the field! It also features an interactive map of the Pirates of New Horizons universe including previously unreleased concept art and an inventory of 6 different special items (to blow stuff up). There are 48 puzzle stages and 18 carefully designed "challenge levels" in total.
Warby, Zacker, Skjalg and me hope that most of you will find the game enjoyable and we count on your support!
I post this here even before our own blog, so please help us spread the news!http://www.planetbustergame.com
Last but not least, here are a few screenshots:

hehe interesting to see how much opinions can divert from each other on series around here. I enjoyed the first episode, but House
in a hospital without Cuddy, Chase and the rest of the team is not the same...Oh and Wilson doesn't count. How long did it take until they were friends again? He's such a whimp.
At the end of the second episode Wilson begrudgingly accepts House's presence on a work level, they don't do anything outside of work anymore (which wouldn't be too likely anyway since House has an ankle bracelet).
And I like that Cuddy's gone, and I'm pretty ok with his team being gone as well. House is back to being primarily about House, and House has always been the best character on House.

At the end of the second episode I watched Wilson told House to meet him at House's place for dinner (heck he even abandoned his plan not to eat red meat anymore once he made up with House). That implies to me that a) the bracelet came off after House saved the lung/patient and b) Wilson does put up with House outside of work.
House being the best character on House is a very non-controversial opinion, I agree!

The current season of House is pretty good. They've significantly changed the cast, giving House a major lifestyle change, and two new employees while taking away three. Their patient in the second episode was a disembodied pair of lungs from a donor kept alive artificially until they could "cure" the lungs so they could be implanted.

Looks ok for a low-budget title.

As Jenn0 said, that 10 mil pre-orders number has been intentionally chosen to generate buzz and it somewhat works, but why not go all the way and pick a realistic barrier? I guess they think they can make more money through pre-orders with the regular price tag generated through the media buzz. Not sure if I can agree with that. Now someone else is probably going to fix that and sell their game under such a promotion. Not mentioning the charity they intend to donate to seems to hurt them, too. With Christmas coming up soon Child's Play would have been the obvious option.

Dexter is fantastic. Better than TWD, no doubt, but I can enjoy a post-apocalyptic, horror-survival, zombie-smashing series to spice up my mix of (more or less) realistic shows that I watch. I must admit this inconsistency leaves a bad taste in my mouth though (totally forgot about this):
Quote from DarkSeems like they dropped the whole zombies can smell humans bit. Not sure why they made it up in the first season to just ditch it in the second.

I follow Mike's tweets from time to time, but never really knew how serious his sickness "might" be. The emphasis is on might, because the doctors apparently haven't figured out yet what is wrong with him. Diagnoses range from Multiple Schlerosis to "complex migraines", I'll just copy/paste what he wrote:
QuoteIn closing, I wanted to bring summation to where we are at with identifying what’s wrong with me. I’ve been living in the hospital since last Thursday, it is now Thursday again—that’s seven days of uncertainty I wouldn’t wish upon my gravest of enemies (CURRY MCKNI- I mean, Adolf… uh—Spaceman. My mortal enemy is named Adolf Spaceman.) I came in with signs of a stroke, something we have not yet been able to rule out. I have signs of Multiple Schlerosis, something we have not been not yet been able to rule out. One of the MRI’s found small “legions” on my brain, so brain tumors aren’t ruled out. They’ve brought up “Complex Migraines” on a number of occasions, something we haven’t ruled out other than the fact the symptoms are supposed to go away on their own, which they aren’t. I’m blind in my right eye, my head hurts all the time, the left side of my body has been stroked-out since last week and I have trouble walking or picking things up with my left hand. Oh, and did I mention they found that hole in my heart yesterday? Yeah, they shot two syringes full of air into my veins so they could watch bubbles move around on an ultrasound. Apparently movies just made that shit up about getting air in your vein and dying, in point-of-fact, it’s totally kosher. They do it on purpose and photograph those little bastards galavanting all the live long day through your torn Atria. At least I learned something while I was here.
Mike doesn't seem to check in here too often anymore, but since he has been around for so long and the core owes him (he hosted these forums for the longest time) I thought the least we could is wish him well.

I will share the thread with him later today.

So I know David, Sirada and Sylvain

David is actually the GD of my Team Squad. It's reallyyyyy fun to work with

Pekka J. is at Ubi Paris now? It won't be hard to find him. Just yell "How much is the fish?" through the office and the one who responds with "Hyper Hyper!" is Pekka!

Thanks for informing us, but D3 was quicker. Sad news indeed...
