    oh shit

do JT or clinton know that theres a brothel interrior in SA, even though any usage of it isn't in the code?

that's just the same as hot coffee, you can't access it without some third party tools, but it's there, and since it's sex related, it's more evil than gang warfare.

I believe the 3 were already working on the myths before they got camera time. And it's not like they picked 2 female models to boost ratings, the two they picked were highly skilled in things like design, welding, construction, etc.

maybe it's just the tobacco company realizing that people can't smoke if they spend all their money on games and computer hardware, then spend all that time playing instead of smoking, so make it harder for their best targets (children) to get computer games so they have the extra money to spend on smokes.

    Hah, yeah

unless one of your kids is some emo loser that is about to snap (and if thats the case, HOW COULD YOU LET YOUR KID GO EMO), if your kid smokes, does drugs or drinks, gta is the last thing that'll cause problems. The 3 mentioned things are all proven to lead to bad habits later in peoples' lives. Video games just don't compare. Except for the rare chances that some gamer does snap and kills their classmates (where the classmates bully the kid, the fact that the kid is a gamer is just a coincidence), the most video games could do is turn a kid that could have had a chance in life to an addicted video gamer, that plays games all night instead of doing homework, then their attendence suffers, they don't graduate. they spend the next 30 years in their parents' basement, never seeing a naked women (excluding porno).

That almost sounds familiar... oh shit...

Regions like those on DVDs cover releases (like stated above), while NTSC and PAL are just encoding standards. They're not specifically designed to prevent you from selling merchandise to other countries, or to get more money from you when you move to another country.

I'd be neat if there was just one of these standards, but that'd be like asking EVERYONE to use OGG instead of MP3, or AVI instead of MPG, or instead of

This is what I don't get. On TV you are exposed to sex, drugs, violence, death, murder, all the forms of "everyday life" but when its in a videogame, its like the end of the world. I picked up XBOX GTA SA last week, I had to show ID to buy it. Moments after a woman walked in, asked for the same game, showed the ID walked outside and gave it to her young son sitting in the car. He barely looked older than 16.

The sad part about this, is that parents STILL blame rockstar for the content, even though they're the ones buying the game for their kids. This is exactly the same thing as a parent buying their (underage) kid alcohol. Sure, there's anti-alcohol parents, but they don't over-do it like they do with GTA. It's not the alcohol company's fault, and it's not the stores fault, BLAME THE PARENTS (or the 21 year old friend, but in gta's case, 17).

New York-based Rockstar Games sure knows how to get publicity -- bad publicity, that is. Two days ago, its parent company, Take-Two Interactive Software, revealed that Rockstar's best-selling video game, ''Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," was the subject of a federal investigation because of a sexually explicit video hidden inside the software.

They make it sound like theres hardcore porno (and REAL people doing it) inside the game.

FUNimation announced that they licensed Detective Conan for a release in the United States, to be released as "Case Closed" due to legal issues concerning the name Conan (Conan the Barbarian).

Yeah, that's right. Apparently you can't have Conan in any tv or movie titles, even tough the titles (Detective Conan vs. Conan the Barbarian) and the plots are completely different.

Add this to your list mac! http://www.big-boys.com/articles/nudewow.html

Now, if JT or Clinton wants to have the game banned because of that, I'm all for it, but not for the same reasons. (wow turns people into assholes, and said assholes forget about their other friends unless they play wow, and because they feel guilty about not playing the game 16+ hours a day, they never play any other games, and kiss any sexual relationships goodbye, unless it's with an elven hooker)

Mac is going to betray us, sue all game makers for so much that they go out of business, and then he will sit in one of his multi-million homes and taunt us.

Do you have access to MP2, or do I need to take screenshots and/or capture video for you?

    reread what I said.

basically, they're saying that the game is unsuit for today's youth

youth refers to the ages before you reach maturity.

    the game is rated mature

therefor, the youth was not intended to play the game, but rather the mature (17+) persons.

    Hmm

Do you or do you not want simple cheats that can let you have a nude skin?

There's a Max Payne 2 console command (requires that the user knows how to start MP2 so it has a console), where you shuffle through player models, and eventually you get to Mona's shower scene model.

Reguarding TR. I remember reading somewhere that the developer has since gone on a lawsuit rampage, threatening anyone who releases said cheat, since, according to them, they are also releasing some of the game code with the cheat, which, again according to them, is illegal.

    edit:

And for the sims, there's a no-censorship patch for the sims 2 at game copy world. I know the original sims had it too, but GCW doesn't seem to have it.

    50.

there's some site where you send your gmail invites to it, they take the invite url in the email, and offer it to anyone who goes to the site in need of a gmail account, but I can't be bothered to do that.
