You know, I really didn't pay much attention to A:CM until the day it got released. Looking back at the demo footage and pretty much all the other media prior to it's release, I'm super bummed at what got put out. I just want to know wtf happened.

Some tasty rumors about Gearbox cheating Sega, by using A:CM money to fund Borderlands.
They seemed to have lost interest in the whole game after Bordelands became a success. While busy with sequel, Gearbox outsourced the the campaign to Timegate Studios. They screwed it up, and so on.....
Sounds like lawsuits are going to appear soon, if rumors are true.

I know it's mentioned before but this specific article and all the links it contains basically sums up what appears to be only the tip of the iceberg. It's still the Internet and I'm not linking anything claiming it to be an legitimate source, but with so much stuff going on you can't deny there's something seriously rotten over at Gearbox.

It's so hard to know whether or not to take these insider leaks seriously. All you have to do is reference some well-known things that actually happened and suddenly your words are taken as gospel by the megashit sites like Destructoid and Kotaku. If I were trying to troll people I'd totally be able to come up with something as authentic-sounding as that based on publicly known lay-offs, etc.
Also it really says a lot about Destructoid that someone actually wrote the headline 'Anonymous Aliens whistle blower blows whistle anonymously' and presumably found it humorous.
