That is nowhere near what we saw in the marines of Aliens 2, which is the main inspiration of this game, right? They look like 16 years old kids.
Yeah I have to agree. That screenshot does make them look a bit "fresh outta boot".
Looks like the kind of kid soldiers they were forced to use in WW2. 
looks pretty good but the characters do look awful 
ditto on the characters, they're terrible, and it doesn't look like it's just the modeling, the posing too

there's plenty of fingers going through guns out there in other game screenshots too.

the scans there, are from an article. go buy the magazine (game informer), or check it out in the store.
hard to tell much from crappy scans, it will be cool when some real screenshots get released.

Game looks promising. If they make the marines more badass and manage to bring back the mood from the Aliens movie i will definately be interested in the game.
