    Looks very nice sir,

The buildings look a bit less than the rest of it, and the character standing on the airship.

Maybe you could spice the buildings up with a bit more detail on the walls other than the stuff you have now.

I really dig that grass, the net on the baloon, the airship itself, and the background.

    Nice painting

thanks for the input. I pretty much agree with ya, but this guy actually evolved out of a speedpainting and just turned into a ... slowpainting. I've spent enough time on this one as is.. learned a lot and will move on, as I don't think anything is that bad to require going back. Though i suppose if I did go back I'd add stuff to the buildings like ya said.

I guess I'm looking for non piece specific criticism maybe? I don't know. But thanks though.

what is the problem with imageshack for some people? I never had problems with it.

it's not so much a problem as a nuisance. you enter the site, get immidiately attacked by pop ups then proceed to wait the next five minutes for the image to load. sure, in the end you see the image, but honestly there are tons of free hosts out there that do it so much better :\

Did another one... I suppose I'll dump all of them in here like peris does. don't really belong in the Wip texture thread anyway.

tried some stuff differently on this one.

    Thanks mino!

used a couple of custom brushes of mine to get that effect. That and combining it with tablet pressure niftyness with changing opacities and size. not sure what else to say...

I guess that you're doing too much lines on objects you could paint with one brush drag, you know what i mean? It's too busy as it is, a bit of clean up would be great.

Very nice. I'd recommend painting some highlights in the watertower, they really give the painting that special touch.

I agree actually.. I use to have this stint of not making use of saturated colors so I try to a lot.

    *changed it.

haha well I like some parts about it more than the cave one but I like some aspects of the cave picture more...

I'm trying to develop my style, so we'll see if ya like my stuff when my style is more refined.
