    Hey,

This is a design test for a game studio that I did in about a week and a half. Very stressful work given the limited time.

Overall I feel like this is the best map I created from gameplay and visual point of view. I included lots of textures inside of the pak file for community use. Read the readme for more info.

    Download the map HERE.

    Feedback is welcome,

Looks very nice, I'm a big fan of rundown industrial-ish arenas.

Almost makes me want to reinstall Quake 4.. almost.

This is how Doom3 should have looked.

    Great work Method.

There are just minor things that could have been improved, for example those steel beams/arcs could look so much better with just 3 patches more on each one, to give it dimension. Draws had a few peaks here and there but overall it batched well.

Also, I really like the reflecting puddle you did there. It's a pity you couldn't use it, guess due to the high draws it's producing. It could have been used as a little gameplay element.

The readme says you applyed to ID. How did it went?

Nice little environment and great textures, especially for the time frame.

Nice one Method and grats on your new job. Glad you released this for the public to checkout. The layout is great and it's by far the best custom q4 map I've seen. Only crits are that the textures seemed overly sharp and pixelated in game. Nice work nonetheless.
