    Hey everyone,

    I'm finally releasing my first TF2 map, just in time for Christmas.

    The map features CP gameplay set in a movie studios environment, where the world of TF2 shoots cartoon remakes of our popular movies, such as Lord of the Rings, Terminator 2 and Back to the Future.

    You can download it off Filefront in either a zip or a rar file:

    zip (30 Mb) : http://%7boption%7d

    rar (25 Mb) : http://%7boption%7d

    MAP DESCRIPTION:

    In dire need of space for more movie studios, Furyo Studios and Pedroleum Studios fight it off to entertain the world of TF2.

    The map's gameplay takes both Granary and Well for a spin, and mixes both maps using similar CP setups.

    5 Capture Points total, with two sets of advanced spawn points and a close to symmetrical layout.

    The map takes place on the movie sets of cartoon remakes of Lord of the Rings, Terminator 2 and Back to the Future.

    This is the first TF2 map I have made, but my commitment to the Source community can be seen in other Source games

    such as DoDS (Camp Packs) and Ubisoft's upcoming Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Elements on the X360.

    Feel free to drop me a line as all constructive comments and feedback are welcome. The map will have a final release

    in a couple months once all feedback has been taken into account.

    Thanks to all the playtesters throughout the beta versions. This map surely has evolved and it's thanks to you.

    Special thanks to our friends at Valve for the playtesting and feedback, helpful as usual

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE !
    Sorry, the map literally contains too many entities, causing invariably the engine to run out of memory, making any server crash ultimately. Take this out of your rotation if it still is in, and rest assured RC2 isn't far out, with a fix for this as well as improvements on the feedback given so far.
    Sorry for the inconvenience.
    What kind of entities you have there if it's crashing and why so many?
    TF maps of any game (TF, TF2, FF, TF2) always tend to crop up with entity related problems as they simply have so much going on entity wise.
    32 players + projectiles + grenades + explosion fx + map entities.
    Then again if theres a lot of custom high detail content on top it doesnt help either.
    It's the total amount that's causing the crash, not a single type I'd use too many of. Easy choice is to delete all point_spotlight entities.
    For the record, and those who will experience similar problems, the error is reported this way "ED_Alloc: no free edicts"
