where did the other 4% go :

96% is bang-on, it's what HL1 got in PC Gamer UK all those years ago and it's a kind of prophecy being fufilled. I honestly wouldn't expect any game, no matter how awesome, to get higher than 96-97%. Nothing is perfect.

Didn't the same magazine have the first review of Doom3?

It's funny because despite the PC Gamer review for HL2 coming, there are people at my office who "absolutely swear that PC Gamer is wrong and the game won't ship till 2005" while others swear it is late October.
