I will go to Paris for New Year's eve with a few friends and I was wondering if anyone of you has done this before. We might stay a little longer than one night actually, because we can stay at my friend's aunt's place for free

I know we got some french folks on the board and other people who might have visited Paris before. I have done the sight seeing stuff on a previous visit, so we are mainly going for the new year's eve celebrations (PARTY ). Has anyone got recommendations for restaurants and dance clubs? It might be already too late for reservations, so time is urging..

    Thanks in advance

grown working men can afford trips like this, hell 1 day doesn't cost much, not atleast if you are staying for free and driving.

nexus you need to stop spending your money on fake "ICE", and rather save for something cool like a trip to Long Beach or Brooklyn.

I can't say I've spent any New Year's Eve in Paris, I only went like 4 times for a few days and didn't visit much party places (I was either 11 years old, or there for a funeral ).

While I can't give you any advices, I might be able to look into it for you (seeing as french people are lazy/uneducated and rarely translate anything to english). I found that website which lists a lot of parties planned for NYE but they vary from free cool pubs to expensive restaurant/dancing to nightclubs. What type of party would you be more interested into? What budget do you have? Would you rather eat well, drink a lot, dance, etc.?

I also have a friend who lives close to Paris and might know about good places, I'll see if I can catch him online.

back in the day when i went on a trip to spain with some friends we spent a night in paris and we slept on a bench in front of the eiffel tower. that was in summer tho. from my experience its pretty hard to get into clubs at champs elysee but then again we probably looked like hobos on that trip

i bet you'll have a great time tho.

you only needed one of those "express cards", you could go in the back, which eliminated the queues
