    http://www.greenpeace.org/international ... econsoles/

What can we learn from this?

    A) Greenpeace, you're a disgrace to 3D-animation.

    B) Kratos shouts like he doesn't want his cubicle neighbour to hear him.

    C) Consoles can be used for toxic warfare.

I hope they get sued for using the video game characters.

I always wondered what a £5 animation budget looked like.

I saw some "pollution stats" on the three companies, I think it was Sony who polluted the least, and Microsoft and Wii was ahead with tons of pollution. They do have a point, but why not atleast try to cooperate with the companies instead of making such a crappy video.

    edit; found the image:

wow. deranged way of putting forth a message. honestly i'd rather have make a guy speaking of this issue rather than see 3 character get derailed and clowned like that. if this is really such a serious topic, they're not doing much to actually emphasize that.

I read an article that looked at that image st0lve posted (and consequently the assertion that those companies are heavy polluters), and it was revealed that the majority of Greenpeace's research was heavily flawed.

In Nintendo's case, apparently they just looked at what was available on Nintendo's site as Nintendo wouldn't speak to them about it and only counted these few examples they gave of how they protect the environment:

    http://www.nintendo.com/corp/faq.jsp#environment

So while Nintendo probably does a lot more, Greenpeace just counted the things on that page. Kind of low, and I'm guessing they pulled similarly weak shit on the other companies too.

Their message may be good, but the way they go about it is lame.

Greenpeace does more to harm the Earth than they realize because of their tactics draw very antagonstic responses from the companies / industries / leaders they "fight" because it only causes these opponents to dig further into their positions (usually). I'm not saying they should take a hippy-pussy approach to improving environmental problems but they have to find a better approach than this garbage. Doesn't this video make you think:

    "....................................................................fuck off, Greenpeace."
