Oh dear. (new terminator film)

T3 wasn't THAT bad imo.

T3 was so bad that it didn't even try. It was like a parody. It had quite a few funny moments, but not enough truly scary stuff. When I watched T1, Arnie was a bad ass. When I watched T2, Robert Patrick (in all his streamlined running, pointy-fingered glory) made me shit bricks. T3 was just a shambles with the odd decent action bit thrown in.

I was entertained by Terminator 3, but I think that's more because the action/story was passable and Arnie was in it; it was more like a big nostalgia trip (hence the parody feel) than a serious film.

Without the legendary master action actor Arnie, I can't see how the 4th could possibly entice me to watch it.

The movie will have Christian Bale as John Connor. This means no matter what, the movie can't be complete ass by law of nature.

I'm looking forward to it actualy. It will play in the future war. Will be totally different from the other Terminator movies. Pretty epic i guess.

Christian Bale is a great actor, I think he'll work well as John Conner, certainly better than the last choice of actor! Tell me who else doesn't want to see a Terminator movie set in the future war? It doesn't matter if it's shit, just so long as there's lots of Endoskeletons being blown to bits Seriously though, I reckon that Arnie has got to make at least a cameo appearance, they can't keep him out completely!

I don't know, I kind of found it cool that the future was was this mysterious event that we never get a full view of, and only snippets. Not knowing the extent of the brutality kind of added to the tone in my opinion.

A Terminator movie set only in the future is something I've been dreaming of since the first time I saw Terminator 1 ages ago.

Yeah, if it has Bale in it surely it must have some good bits in it.

I watched Rescue Dawn last night with Christian Bale in it, love that actor.

Ever since I saw that crazy guy running around a hotel in his birthday suit and a chainsaw in American Psycho 1 he got my vote.

Terminator 3 was alright... first two were better of course.

Bale is my favourite actor. I have seen most of his movies. Personaly i recommend The Prestige, The Machinist, Rescue Dawn, 3:10 To Yuma, Harsh Times, Equilibrium, Empire of The Sun, American Psycho and Batman Begins.

the machinist is an absolutely awesome movie. reminds me that i need to watch it again because it's just so awesome

McG did 'We are Marshall' which was good. Granted he has some questionable stuff but that is all in his past.
