yeah, i would rather search via game than theme, for instance.also i tried your suggestion:

went to games, clicked on doom3 as a test, took me to the doom3 page - then i clicked the mods tab at the top (as i couldn't see any others) and it just took me to 'all mods'

    very hard to navigate.

I do agree with that first point.

There is a few navigational issues, hopefully most will be ironed out shortly.

And to stepp - it isn't fixing, the features are all still there (or are being put into the build), its evolving.

I disagree with the points made about the design though, I really like it. It feels reasonably fresh and is much better than any previous version.

the layout is my #1 bugbear - it's too hard on the eyes.

... after that it's the hard to navigate issues.

In what ways? Everyone here who said they didn't like it was able to point out usability flaws to back up their opinions. How is the current version better than previous versions in terms of design?

Meh, MODdb was never easy to navigate in the first place, so... It's hard to make good, something that was never even near to be good.

Imho, this site needed a whole restructure.

also the "blocky", "pixelized" look just doesn't fit!

Navigation is poor because this is the most bloated website ever. Why are there entire sections devoted to 360, PS3, Wii, PSP and DS when there’s going to be sod all content for them? Why is it graphic heavy and why are they so much bigger than they need to be? Streamline guys! Web 2.0!

    hi D3~

Dave - I just like the feel of it that is all, I respect everyone else's opinions I was just giving my own.

I'll stop trying to give my opinions, I can't be bothered trying to justify why I feel this is a positive move for the site.

Just all you need to keep in mind is that v4 is still in development, and we are rolling in features and new ones that will make a lot of people happy, and please if you have a suggestion - just suggest it via the contact us page of the website, and it'll probably be implemented.

I think I just hate the colour scheme (black red and white?) and overall blockiness of the website. Everything is so chunky and huge. It could be a lot smoother looking and streamlined in my opinion, and would help navigation.

    Just my opinions though
