Copenhagen would be ok, or Stockholm, since there are already like 10 people there.

lol lets go to Stockholm and get a tour of the grin offices for like the 5 people on mapcore who aren't employed there.

So i've done a bit of research.

Going for fictional dates of 04Feb08 to 07Feb08.

Flight to Copenhagen from London £110 (British Airways)

Hotel http://www.avenuehotel.dk about £87 per night (even cheaper if we share obviously).

Only costs missing really is TAXI and police bribes

and it means Mazy doesn't have to travel far...in fact he can just fall out of his office.

aye didn't think of hostals...not really my thing but i'll have a look for prices of those as well.

I think this is more then doable for most.

Maybe the next thing should be a poll on date before we move on any further.

It's very much downtown, good quality and still at an okay price. 70EUR per night for a 4-person room. That's less than 20EUR per person:)

OMAI, this is a great idea tbh.

Hostels have such a better value/quality rate so I prefer them.

I'm up for MapCon if it fits my schedule (like I have one). Anyways

Copenhagen/Stockholm are my favourite options so far.

It's beginning to look like I'd definitely be able to make it as well. Sounds like good fun. There's a lot of you guys I'd love to meet

Now theres like 20 people that think this mapcon is a good idea, factor in that some cant make it on the date we've set + not bothering to show even if its a good idea we can probably assume that 10 people will travel..

Now, theres like 3 people living in copenhagen (or near) that is from the core, and 15 that lives in stockholm... Personally I'd love it to be in sweden, since that would mean I could get to meet insta, peris, phil, evert, step, clayman, etc...

Ofcourse, I'd also love to meet Mazy, but seeing as its just a trip across 1 bridge from copenhagen to stockholm he should be able to come!

Maybe we should vote as to where we should do this thing, copenhagen or stockholm.. I'm pretty sure you can find hostels and cheap beer in both cities
