I'm working currently on a map (combat map) for Natural-Selection MOD.

This is what is done now.

Level-Desing is an art, like all other, this is simple to know. I'm using my fantasy to make art like this. I'm not pro-mapper or master. I'm just..Nexus you know. Comments?

Looks pretty good. It looks rather hallwayish judging from the pics though.

looks very natural selectiony, which is good i guess.

you could jazz it up a bit with some machinery, turbines and such.

I guess, this is the Marine Start

    Any comments?

Render speeds in this Area is 500~. So this map should work fine, without any bad lagg on servers allowing the player feel the shaft.

I guess it could use some more color. Brushwork, on the other hand, seems to be varied and good. Layout-wise it seems to lack some height variation.

Strat is right, it could really use some height variation. A map is immediately improved tenfold and the player is far more immersed if they have to actually keep an eye on all three axises. It also encourages people to look at your nice pretty ceilings.

    @ marcos: why? :x

Map looks good, but as strat said, it could use some height variation. I think you could squeeze in alot more details aswell.

Im not offending Nexus here just stating some facts.

Nexus is known in the ns.org mapping forum as the decompile master. He decompiled maps and copied others work, claiming it was his own work.

He didnt seem to care about the warings he got either.

But it seems you are back on the right track Nexus, gj! Map looks good too.

The lighting in my opinion is very bland. You really need a mix of colors, and think about the theme before you start deciding which colors to use. The brush work is looking pretty decent but as others said, height variation.

You've got to be fucking kidding me.

    Background information:

As Marcos has said, Nexus here is a decompile queen. There is a VERY good chance that these screens here aren't his own work. He has stated numerous times that he'd stop, and he always went off and did it again. It's funny that he comes here and hopes that no one from ns.org posts here.

    What a queen.

Well.. Background information about The Zazi:

I joined ns.org forums for about 1 year ago in january 2003.

I dind't know about Zazi first time. When i posted my first level on that time..He liked it. But things did turn and change by the time. Yeah, the contact was with the d-piler and bad. Did change a lot of me and my artwork to others. Zazi did spectate all the time on me, i didn't know much about that. Things did change by the time, and my last day was august 27...On forums that day Nem0 fired me off the forum boards.

And after the horrible judgement to me. Days went to long nights, many weeks and months until this day was everything like in the grave. Noone did know, what i was working on. And for now, let's give it a try.

This time i'll try to make my own work

So thanks, for the comments for now.

    Details coming soon.

1.) You gotta be kidding me. Since when did I like ANY of your work?!

2.) I "spectated" you? Shit, you wish.

3.) You were banned 'cause you decompiled stuff and you wouldn't stop. You stole other's work and claimed it as your own, so you deserved it.

4.) You'll never make anything original, get over it.

    And lastly: Go to hell.

nexus, you sound like a horror book author.

Let me tell you this in advance:

Ripping and stealing of other people's work is not welcome here at Mapcore.

So I hope the stuff you posted is your OWN work, not somebody else's
