"No hard feelings"
I think portal is made of pure genius. This is an instant classic, gameplay, computer character, music (I love it, is like some Vangelis kind of score), credits, everything. The only problem is it seemed quite easy, well, maybe I got stuck for some minutes 2 or 3 times, but most levels were easy to complete, even the final in just one try. Still haven't tried the bonus maps, which appear to be harder. I'm also awaiting for the user made maps, I'm sure people will come with great stuff.
Portal - secret code/area? *spoiler?*

The advanced maps are great fun, and make you realize how more difficult you completed the normal game than it really ought to. The challenges on the other hand are very hard, even on bronze for certain.
Least portals is fun to do cause you've got time to think and no worries regarding your steps. The two others just become painful because of that.

Ahh I'm glad I came back to Portal after playing roughly the first 3rd, it became really great after that so I finished the rest in one go. Really awesome that they didn't let this become a pure puzzle game, without any backstory. I started to become quite anxious and paranoid once I found the first hints (the cake is a lie and so on) and some of the lines of the observer were really funny. Ending was excellent too, does anyone have the song from the credits?

i had the feeling of paranoia as well, especially towards the end when you heard some associate was coming for you and were outside the test area. i made sure to seal off all my portals once i got through some blocked spaces just to make sure i wasnt followed.
pretty crazy what a game can do to you

The game really holds your hand through the opening sections, and most of the commentary focuses on how they hammered home the mechanics until even the stupidest of players understood what to do (though they didn't word it like that). I’d say they made a conscious decision to make the game quite easy for the duncebreeds/casual gamers. The advanced missions ramp up the difficulty, and I’m sure user-created maps won’t hold back, either.

i think i got the download link off a thread on interlopers.
but yeah get GCFscape, one of Nem's tool's (google) and use it to open the portal gcf (game cache file).
search around and extract the best credits song ever and put it on your mp3 player to blast in your car at intersections.
*edit* or just download it! found the link

God Hand did a similar thing in its ending credits too.

Just beat it, the AI's comments once you manage not to die by fire is just brilliant.
What a great and original game!
