The other evening i thought i'd see if i could get custom maps working in tf2 and, with a little magic and some help it worked (fgd ). Anyhoo, the map was originally just going to be a boxy test map to see if it would even work but i got sucked into doing a little bit of detailing and decided to release it. To my suprise this map is massively fun to play, either with 6 or 24 people, the gameplay scales accordingly due to tf2's awesomeness. The simple design really lets the great class gameplay shine through.

    Have fun

Looks good but need more details as others say

I tried to configure the SDK for tf2 but it doesn't work. So i import all the materials and models to my HL2dm, but i don't see the textures

So how do you build your map ?

Just because the game is cartoony doesn't mean that the map has to be flat and boring.

i agree on the blocky, and also too much unsubtle detail for the comic style

I've not had any idea how to write a gameinfo, gameconfig or even fgd file but I'm on it. I've got spawns and captureareas (ctf) working. but maybe you might just share your fgd

dont go all harsh on it's looks.. he clearly says it was just gonna be a box at first just to see if it worked but he added a bit and made it into a fun map.

I'd play it if I had tf2 looks like it could be some good fun.

it's okay. got some issues though

extreme fps drop looking this direction

games can take forever, since apparently there's no sudden death.

and there's some height variation between capture points, but the capture points themselves are uninteresting and flat.

    that's it. cool map!

I think the emptyness and blockyness kinda fits the theme, ofcourse not all maps should b like this ,but i think, for a single map, it's pretty cool ,since it was a test map anyways, if the gameplay is as good as you say, i don't think alot of players will ahve too much to complain

lots of servers running her now with some 24/7 dedicated ones for good measure

the map download was updated with a timer now so if you download it again games will no longer last forever (as long as the server is hosting the updated copy)
